What sot do you get with ngk? Are you using magisk and modules to pass safety net?
Can't really tell because i am not a heavy phone user, GSam Battery Stats says:
Averages Per Complete Charge
Battery Life: 3d 15h (9h 18m Active)
Screen On: 3h 35m (4h 8m Max)

I do use Magisk with modules
MagiskHide Props Config (i think i chose to emulate a MIUI Poco?)
NoGravity Kernel Helper
Systemless Hosts (for Adblock)
Universal GMS Doze
Universal SafetyNet Fix
Zygisk - Sui

There's some ui lag occasionally, especially using heavy apps simultaneously like firefox and Poweramp. Weird!
Performance is kind of capped on lineage, while other custom roms rock on daily task.

Still not switching to other roms, might consider switching kernel though!

Hi guys, I need a help.

I have been using LOS with no problem at all till now. Today my device freezed while I was using it. I was not able to touch anything nor lock it. Then my device rebooted and now everytime it boots up, it is working perfectly fine for about 30-60 seconds and then it completely freezes until it reboots again.

I tried to delete system, dalvik and cache in TWRP, reinstall ROM with gappps and magisk, but that didn't helped.

I don't want to clear storage, so I hope that there is some way to fix it without deleting internal storage.

I also want to give NGK a try. Does anybody know if it is easily possible to use the different kernel profiles in los without root (the app is not working without)? Does battery saver in los has any effect on the kernel?

I'm using without any problems, just have to reinstall magik.
I had to manually reinstall everything. But now everything works as before.

However, I have a different problem. When I go to the developer settings and try to change the Bluetooth-Codec from AAC to SBC, it doesn't stay like this. It always switches back to AAC, which is quite annoying as AAC causes problems with my headphones (stuttering). Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?

Lineageos app lock doesn't work properly!

Hi,
I am using lineage os 19.1(26th nov nightly build) on poco F1. My issue is if i lock any app say "Gallery" and open it from the home screen or app drawer then everything is fine (ask for authentication everytime i click on app icon), but if i open the app from recents then it doesn't ask for authentication.

Can anybody tell me how to fix it?

    Better quality?
    Secondary camera support?
Can't comment (yet) on the quality, sorry, but there definitely are feature changes. I checked both with a Gcam port and the stock camera.
On both you can select 2 camera models each on front and rear (so 4 in total):
    Front1: regular front camera
    Front2: IR front camera
Rear1: the (main) lens on top of the device
Rear2: the lower lens (between top lens and fingerprint sensor

Not sure what to make of all this. If somebody has suggestions or pointers on how to bring the best out of all these options, please let us know.

I was afraid that would be the case. I remember that for 19.1 FDE support was (re)added later, but maybe it's completely gone now.
FDE is dead as of Android 13.

Does stock camera app have any improvement?
It has a scan function now.

I was on full device encryption on 18.1 and when I upgraded to 19.1 all was fine, but now the phone bootlooped going to 20 and required a factory reset.
I had 2 phones with clean installed 19.1 and protected with PIN and fingerprints. After update to 20 both bootlooped :-(

This was my installation procedure with LOS 20:
Saved lineage-20.0-20230101-nightly-beryllium-signed.zip to sdcard. Installed lineage-20.0-20230101-recovery-beryllium.img with adb from pc in fastboot mode with

    fastboot flash recovery lineage-20.0-20230101-recovery-beryllium.img

Because it is very difficult to me to then boot to recovery from the running phone in fastboot mode I used

    fastboot boot lineage-20.0-20230101-recovery-beryllium.img

and in the booted recovery I used "Advanced\Reboot to recovery". Now the phone was running the fresh installed recovery. From there I installed with "Apply update\Choose from disk" the 2 packages lineage-20.0-20230101-nightly-beryllium-signed.zip and NikGapps-core-arm64-13-20220908-signed.zip from sdcard.

After the installation all was running fine (and only thats why I also updated the second phone). After some time I used the enhanced reboot menu, which allows to reboot into recovery (or system or bootloader or fastboot) to boot into the recovery. Here I rebooted to system and that was the time the bootloop occurs.
The same story with my other phone. I had to factory reset both of them and clean install LOS 20.

I don't know, why this happend. Anybody has an idea?

Another thing is, that the updater after clean installing of LOS 20 thinks, that LOS 20 is not installed. Also when installing another time with the updater and not from recovery I have the possibility to install LOS 20 again. That was not the case with LOS 19.1. If the newest version was installed it was not possible to install it again with the updater.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 12L (S), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Base source code is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to the project, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.

You can see the beryllium branch for los20 had its last commit starting november, so i would say "no"

[Feel free to do the work yourself and pull request it when done? :) ]
Nonsense. That device tree, much like the rest of the other sdm845 devices from Xiaomi, inherits from a common tree, where all the activity happens. Rest assured that A13 will be released for this device.

Guys, this is really unbelievable! According to the device download statistics from stats.lineageos.org, Beryllium is ranked #3 out of all others with LOS19.1!!!

With around 8 thousand downloads, our device has almost overtaken #2 Miatoll: https://stats.lineageos.org/version/19.1

(I was very excited and thought I would share this stats with you.) :):)
