Yes ,it's true. Why do you want *.img ? you need to flash all files into this .zip,it's not a simple GSI ,there are some script that we need to flash too

Nice Rome, it's working. But some things seem to be broken.
My SD card is not recognized. In TWRP yes but in the ROM not . Any idea to fix that?
Some small things, not so important. Themes (DARK Mode) doesn't work, Trust closed if you want to go into detailed mode ...

For the sdcard, yes i know. read he OP ,the issue are writing
Themes not include for now,need more stuff from lineage team for that.

Very nice rom, working like a charm. Just my sd card is only detected as "ejected" and USB mtp mode has to be changed manually from dev settings. Thanks for your work!
Tested Working Honor V10 stock camera from magisk modules.

For me it's booting. Also my sdcard is now recognized. Just flashed the new Rom in TWRP and uninstalled and flashed again Magisk because there were some Apps (AdAway f.e.) not recognizing device was still rooted (Root Checker approved root). Data & Gapps were still there.

Very strange ... working for me and other users.
in recovery, look at /data/tombstone and if there are files inside ,upload it please.
Try clean cache and dalvik or with clean install (factory reset)

Booted after installed Magisk, another weird thing right..
Unable to flash gapps.also, gapps that are provided on this post are not available anymore.
Yes sorry, i will update Op because GAPPS are official now,so flash it https://opengapps.org/ (use nano preferably)

on TWRP by type yes. - Flash: Huawei_remove_encyption_data.zip
- Wipe data(optional)
- Flash Lineage 16 build ROM
- Flash Official Gapps.
- Flash Magisk v17.1
- Reboot and enjoy the ROM

My phone is MHA-AL00 (MATE 9 in China). I can't flash the rom in twrp, it show's the error:7. The attachment is the log file.
Hi, for those who have fingerprint sensor issue you need to flash back your stock recovery from huawei. Then wipe your data using the stock recovery. After that it will get rid of your issue. This is how I get it to work.
