I solved my Netflix issue by replacing the build.prop on this ROM with the one from DarkLord 2.2 after that Netflix loads with no issues.

I don't use Netflix really but I tested it and mine still stuck on loading. Also the transparent Google search widget is lost when this is flashed.

Yeah... It's a very simple build.prop... can anyone with the Netfilx issue test the "fix"? (I can't because I don't have issues with Netflix)

on another Note... currently testing URv3... still at alpha stage... it solves most of the current issues... like (signal arrows, flashlight disappearing) but it also introduced some other issues... working on it...

also... URv3 is departing from its origins... This one has almost no heritage from the Original DomPop bloodline...

URv3 might:

a) Simply stay as DomPop URv3...

b) Rename the ROM and launch it under another_nameURv1 (new thread)

The name "DomPop" is well known as a high quality /high end / ultimate pro rom... I hope my job here has maintained that same high standard... but I will most likely leave the name DomPop to the Original Creator @kevp75 and continue the job under another name... He deserves his name and I also might deserve a new name... UR will always remember where it came from... So grab a copy of DomPop URv2.2.3 because it might be the last one with the DomPop bloodline...

I mean, I will stay here of course... just not sure if rebranding myself or simply stay under the DomPop umbrella... But nothing to worry... URv3 will come... just not sure of the name...

As soon as Lollipop arrives for the Note 4/Note Edge (officially) I will then create a new ROM for the Note 4 & Note Edge... If I decide to go for option (b), then the new Note 4 & Note Edge ROMs will also have the same name as the Note 3 ROM...

Not sure if i understood correctly tek. Will you be porting note 4/edge official rom to the note 3. Or are you jumping ship to the note 4/edge line up?

I second this question! My dreams will be crushed if UR TEKHD Edition for Note3 misses out on its full potential! This rom is great, and with help from the official firmware it could be near perfect!

I'm using stock kernel for v2.2.3 right now. However, Facebook and messenger is lagging for some reason, which kernel would you guys recommend for this ROM?

Anyone else having serious lag problems with 2.2.3? I would clear my recent apps and it would go away for a little bit and then come back again (even when I have only 2 background apps running) and it does the same thing when I clear the cache.

Yeah actually mine has been like that shortly after installing this ROM. I have to reboot the phone a couple of times per day as well use Cleansweep to clear the RAM. I just attributed it to the fact that its one of those things everyone is having to deal with and smiling as we're on Lollipop!

I've been on this ROM a few days and loving it but have been unable to get Gear Manager to work. I tried installing the newer APKs on this thread with no success. Anyone else have any luck?

It should work on this rom with 'permissive' kernel. So if you have stock 'enforcing' it won't work. So only thing you need is permissive kernel

There is actually a app on the playstore for this called selinux mode changer I've been using it for a longtime and it still works

It's normally not an issue but this latest build was a bit harder getting my gear working. Galaxy apps didn't show gear manager when searching for it either, I got it working but think I went to an older version of gear manager, the one before the newest from brendos thread iirc. After it was all working I updated it.

What I would try first on a new install is removing the included gear manager, downloading the latest version along with gear module, installing and seeing what happens. If that fails try the older version of gear manager.

I am not sure what changed from the last release to this one but something made it more difficult, least for me.

Fix didnt work for me. Copied an old dompop build.prop I had backed up previously. Works ok now.

Wanted to report: v2.2.3 - installs fine - but is prone to random reboots (usually within a few seconds of booting) on my Note 3
