Did anybody even try this rom?
I recently bought a Trek2HD, deciding that this is the best budget android tablet currently on market. AT&T's stock rom is really bloated so I tried the different AOSP ROMs available in the past week. I was pleasantly surprised that an Oreo ROM was even available for this really budget tablet. I really didn't have high hopes before trying this rom.
To my amazement, this rom is working great for me, and decided to stay with it as my daily driver.
The UI is really snappy, I didn't observe any lag in my 2 days of use. WiFi connectivity is stable. I have to admit that I solely use the device as WiFi only, and my usage is limited to mostly ebook reading, youtube videos and occasional light gaming.
Thanks for the great rom. Really appreciate the effort.

newb here - I just found this and was thinking of an upgrade as a way to get rid of the bloat on my K88.

I can't figure out how to get the device into recovery. Current Android is 7.1.1 (K88V2.0.0B17)

Developer options are turned on, OEM unlocking is turned on

Android tools installed on mac, I don't have any PC's running windows. if pushed I could install some linux on a VirtualBox machine but would rather not if I don't have to.

adb devices lists and shows the device

fastboot devices just returns a blank, any other fasttboot command hangs with "waiting for device"

If I use keys to get to standard android recovery menu (power + Vol-up) and tell it to reboot boot to bootloader it just does a regular boot
if I adb reboot bootloader same thing
