well i googled around a little for drivers for the op3 on mac, but the awnser i get is that its not needed, and can't find any drivers. but the computer still don't see the phone when its connected and booted into twrp

Drivers are only needed for ADB. Adb push will get it on there, MTP (no drivers should be needed, but ... its your Mac), and failing that, use an OTG cable and a USB flash drive.

found android file transfer, as soon as i installed that i got access to the storage. gonna try flash another rom asap and get back with an awnser...

btw i have never used mac before, its my gf, but she don't know how to use it either haha

Are you sure? A clean install of Freedom OS is asking for a password? It might ask for the password used to encrypt the /data partition. This would be the same one you gave to TWRP.

If you get no luck and can access Internal Storage via TWRP, copy your internal storage to a PC and then format /data, not wipe, format!

You need to do a factory reset, not advanced wipe. It is only detected as a factory reset, if you do it with the factory reset button in twrp. Try it, it works

oh, i didn't know it was a difference, never did this before. that seems to do the trick! thank you a lot!!!

now to the most interesting question, how could this even happen? it did not apply the pin code i entered, it applied weird letters instead

I once had the same problem like you and for your question, I don't know...but now you know how to solve it

factory reset kills your data and if it sets to your Google password ... that isn't AOSP behavior! What if you don't have gapps?

Exactly, I was lost. What happened was I had a different ROM, the PIN was set, always was on every one I used, and then I went into TWRP, PIN worked to decrypt and enter TWRP. I did my usual Wipe Everything, then flashed this ROM. I rebooted into system, it asked for PIN, wouldn't accept it for nothing.

Back into TWRP, PIN no longer worked, but it was asking for it. I, after a load of tries, tried my Google Account Password for giggles and it worked... got me back into TWRP. I was lost. I can't blame this ROM, it wasn't even booted yet. Only thing that worked for me after several times wiping and reflashing was to hit that Factory Reset option in TWRP, reboot into TWRP again and then wipe it all for a nice clean flash. It worked and boom, this ROM is great! Was definitely a new experience for me, lol.

Dash charging is only done with the stock dash charger from oneplus. Any other charger will show slow charging because the charging technology is different of dash charger and other chargers. It is not a rom or a kernel issue.

Try installing app like Ampere to see exactly if it really is charging slowly, also not all chargers are created equal. Some just don't give the required amperage depending on age, brand and what phone or device they were made for.

I checked with Dash Charger and the Nexus 5V/3A charger. I wait some seconds before recording the value.

Dash, working properly :
- OnePlus3 : 2800mA
- Nexus 5X : 1200mA

Nexus 5V/3A :
- OnePlus 3 : 1410mA
- Nexus 5X : 2560mA

I need to do another test with my car 2.1A charger. I was on AOSPA rom before and never saw the "slow charging" message. With my OnePlus3 I only get 1120mA, but I need to test with the Nexus 5X as my charger could be simply dying...

Maybe it was already like this before and AOSPA was showing these messages :/

the word "root" is misleading. In Linux, there is a directory called "root" in /. A leading slash means the root of the filesystem. So from /data/apps to /system/apps

Copy the whole folder, then reboot

Anyone tried the oZop mod for changing system animations? Would be really awesome to have the stock OOS animations on this rom. Smooth af.

BTW, any chance color engine from aospa will be added to this rom? I just want a black theme with different accents. Can't seem to find substratum themes that does that. E.g swift dark changes the notifications to dark aswell, and I don't want that.. Any suggestions?

Swift black has just been updated and it has an option for light notifications like your looking for.

Battery from build 20170815 is much better for me than the latest build. I also had some strange battery drain, like someone else posted here. On build 0815 everything is fine for me last time I took a look I had 6h SoT with 28h away from charger.
