It's amazing how much energy you have for this phone development. Thanks for all of your efforts especially as of late
tbh (based on download numbers) i was shocked how many people still have the fascinate, and actually use touchwiz

resurrection 1.2 (i dont have reliable #s for 1.0 as i used rom share to host for awhile the primary link and its tracking is broken) is over 5000 downloads between fasc, mez, showcase

and its fair to say that the majority of touchwiz root users arent using res :)

i only bring it up, because its justification on my part for continuing to do what i can for those that dont want to/cant upgrade or have reasons for not using aosp

might as well help where we can

Is it normal for the call to *22899 to be very brief, as if aborted, indicate call lost, and end without requiring a reboot? This has been my experience over many ROMs for quite a while now. I get the impression it isn't working for me.
Good question, I would like to know myself.

Yeah, that means it's not working. The call should last about a minute and always requires a reboot. You may want to try ODINing a new radio with the efs clear option checked. You'll have to reactivate your phone like you did when you first got it.

And that attitude and mindset is why you are and have been on the podium for most important devs in this community for the past year.

nitsuj17,

First off, thanks for your wonderful work. I am a programmer myself and I always have admired your work.

Question: when is package B being dropped?

LOL I was publishing this post as you were dropping package B.

nitsuj17, some questions for you:

1- Is this a flashable file for CWMR? do you recommend wiping all 3: data, cache and dalvkit?

2- Can I flash imoseyon kernel on top of this?

3- How is the "in call" volume in this rom? is it still low as it has been with the other gingerbread leaks?

Thanks.

its up now :)

Thanks a bazillion for the quick work on this leak! I guess I will have something to do while I am on vacation thanksgiving week. If I can just get rid of the reboot issue I saw with the EI20 rom I would officially have the best phone on the planet.

What I'm thankful for this year: Great GB roms and a great community!

3- How is the "in call" volume in this rom? is it still low as it has been with the other gingerbread leaks?

Thanks.
When you have the volume issue have you tried racking the volume all the way down and back up? I saw weird volume behavior on EI20 a few times when switching on and off of bluetooth but the scale always reset when the volume was ran back and forth.

1. yes its a cwr file, if you are on eh03 already theres really no need to wipe data (cant hurt though) and honestly wiping data covers cache and davlik cache as well...if on eh09 or ei20 rom, id recommend wiping data but its *probably* not necessary, although i wont accept bug reports on eh03 in that case

2. i havent personally, but id imagine you can...im using comradesven's just fine with it

3. in call volume is more kernel dependent than anything else...and i didnt try a phone call on the stock kernel so im not sure

Indeed old friend, not posting much these days, still on the old fassy, still lurking here and at rootz, still living in a town with no 4g, so i might just keep riding this train awhile longer

epicly dumb question warning:

I'm going to flash the stock odin package, and then CWR this one...do I need the PIT file if I'm currently on TSM? Or is that *only* for people coming from AOSP?

Thanks for all the great work!!
