Yes of course, you have for eg. frankenstine AOKP rom, or lot CM 10.1 roms

cm version is good.stock battery with screen 2h 46m ,id 1h53m on battery stil on 20%

Same here on AOKP. Mostly happens after leaving a WiFi. Turning network off/on has no influence, only reboot helps.

I just noticed the problem with GPS I PM'ed you is not App-limited. If I turn on GPS manually via quicksetting and turn it off quickly after (like 5-10 seconds), the phone screws up badly. GPSLocationProvider-wakelock stays on until next reboot, causing a massive battery drain.

seems like there are is a lot of issue with the wifi in many AOSP roms here in this forum...

it would be nice to see a rom has finally eliminate this issue once and for all...

I think its mostly because there isnt much to do anymore.... Until 4.3 or ion. 4.2.2 roms are done
