Yeah sure backup your applications.. About gaming performance while using this MIUI ROM you have about 190 mb free RAM Best ICS ROM can't give you this free memory.. But you try - see and write here and all people see it s much better

Been using it for two days, eveything perfect but I found two little problems which im not sure if it's just me
-Video recording works on all modes except High (h2) mode. the one below 720P. video doesnt start recording when you press the button.
-WiFi hopspot does not work, other devices cannot connect to it

Gaming: Most games I tried work smoothly, Asphalt, Six Guns, Shadowgun and other gameloft games work fine.

otherwise still the best miui rom out.

Yeah bro only HD video records.
And hotspot it still use Fxp when fxp solve MIUI will solve too Also MIUI screen shot not working too..

CPU Recomended is 1.4 If you think it s dangerous u can do it 1 GHZ by CPU tuner.. Downloaded over 950 and noone said i had really dangerous problem..

So it is up to you bro..

however I found an annoying bug with the gmail app, after a few minutes the text of all emails becomes corrupted. This happens every single time. Changing the text size or killing and restarting the app fixes it. Any ideas? (see attached screen)

Also cannot find how to close a call using the power button.

it's frustrating because this would otherwise be the best rom for me full stop
here is the way I installed it:
went back to .42 tft using flash boot.
installed the battery saving .img
wiped all possible things in bootmanager
installed the final zip

Noone had the problem which you had..

Can you check your gmail with an explorer ? Will you have charraceter problem again ?

gmail messages look fine with the internet explorer on the phone.
Actually I found what the problem is, it's the theme in use,
DARKSIDEORANGE B70, it corrupts the fonts in the gmail app for some reason.
Pity that's a damn nice looking theme

Also HD videorecording goes in hiccups every 3 secs.

You can combine Icons , Fonts , status bar all from different themes.. U chose which theme you like but change the font which one is ok for you..

thanks everything is working fine now, this is the best rom I've used since november, thank you.

One last small issue is the video recording (HD) freezes for 0.5 secs every 3 secs of recording. I wonder if that could be caused by the battery optimized .img (the one in your first post).

ICS 4.0.4 - Locked Bootloader - Build No. 4.1.B.0.431

Hi, MAJOR newbie question here but is this ROM usable for an Xperia Ray - ICS 4.0.4 - Locked Bootloader - Build No. 4.1.B.0.431? Bit confused on one point - when it's for a 'Stock' ROM does this mean if it's a gingerbread ROM download it's not usable if you've got ICS currently installed on your phone and vice versa?

Anyway, I said to Hell with it, I risked it and my phone got stuck at the 'Sony' logo..... so then I had to rescue phone, etc etc. Time consuming and annoying!

Any help would be really appreciated. And actually, if there's any ROMS that's definitely would run on my phone feel free to send a link my way!
