Oh, now that's just mean. It was a PM, which avoided exposing the rest of us to all of that nonsense until you posted it.

That said, you've apparently become famous for your high level of support, so congratulations!

It's still private kinda ... I've protected the innocent anyways .. lol ... thought if I posted here cyanogen may stop by a help him/her out! LOL

I tried really really hard to see how it had anything to do me ... just couldn't find why it shoulda been private! lol

Just tried installing the EU OTA version coming from the DRC83 ADP version and it won't boot after installing the expansion pack.

I did the following:

Installed the EU OTA DRC92 version

Did a data wipe

Booted up fully, signed into google, downloaded apps from market

Installed expansion pack

Reboot... then after the plash screen and the animated "Android" logo it just goes blank and stays like that.

Hey grand,

Actually I would sit tight for the moment ... I'm currently building out the next AOSP and am in testing ... it's 1.6_r1.4-DRD20 ... so there's really no need to do it twice now ... so I would just wait till I post the next base DRD20 of AOSP and would upgrade then.

Phil,

Sorry I didn't see this before .. you need to follow POST #4 exactly. No need to wipe after the base ROM.

Also, you will likely need to clean out your entire ext partition (or reformat it).

Hope that helps.

Got any kind of ETA on that? Just curious, no rush.

Everytime I try to mount with this command (mount my debian img (ext2)) with this command:

mount -o loop,noatime /sdcard/debian/debian.img /data/local/mnt

I get this output

Usage: mount [-r] [-w] [-o options] [-t type] device directory

What do I have to add to get it to mount my img in this rom? Any ideas?

EDIT: NM you had to include the fs type. I tried ext4 before with my ext4 image but couldn't get it to mount. So I made a new ext 2 img.
So if anybody is having a similiar problem just add -t to the cmd.
Ex:
for intro boot:
mount -o loop,noatime -t ext2 /sdcard/debian/debian.img /data/local/mnt
after first boot
mount -o loop -t ext2 /sdcard/debian/debian.img /data/local/mnt

For future updates, can I flash base rom and expansion pack right after?

What I do is, when I flash ROM, I let it install in the phone, and then I sign in for the first time, turn off phone and then flash expansion pack.

Can I do it both at the same time before signing in for the first time?

You're supposed to flash the ROM then the expansion pack right after with no boot in between. I think your issue is the fact that you're flashing BOTH for an update. When Enom releases an update you only have to flash the EXPANSION PACK, not the Base.

Really? Only the expansion pack? I didn't know that.

enom,

Can you check if HQ video on youtube is working for you? I can watch vids in low quality, but when I set it to watch in HQ, it freezes. I flashed Cyan's 4.2.1 rom and it plays just fine.

I just tested it on the TMO ... works fine ... gonna flash the AOSP on my test phone and get back to ya ... but as far as I know it should work just fine.

I'll post back.

I'm getting the same thing. Also it keeps poping up and saying Settings is FCing. If you push "Wait" and let the video sit there for a few seconds it starts. I'll get a logcat on the FC.

EDIT:
It only did it the one time. Now its working fine. :/

Super impressive, I went back to CM Eclair because CM6x was too bloaty and slow. This is the smoothest and fastest 2.2.x rom I've used, excellent work! Love the custom spare-parts app.

Only two glitches I found - Bluetooth doesn't seem to want to turn on, and the 3G for HSPA option doesn't do anything when ticked or unticked.

Thanks . ............... .... and thanks to ALL for the kind words :)

    And to ALL (status update)...

These are the (2) bugs I am verify-ing atm. ...

To be clear ... the 3g/hspa toggle is definitely broken ...

As far as the BlueTooth issue ... this only effects dreams (G1/HTCDream) ... sapphire is fine.

Will be making an effort to get these resolved as soon as humanly possible :)

Just wanted to update everyone! :)

Yeah, It's an Android Supplement Update (Security Update to be exact)

herm ... that's strange I never got prompt during testing ... really no need to update though ... it will only fail.

I must have "older" fingerprint keys in the build.prop's ... :/ ... will investigate further.
