Does anyone know if the 720p audio mod kernal from this rom can be flash on the rooted version of gingerbread? So far it seems Google took alot of emothers work into 2.3.3 it feels very smooth like his rom I am very happy with it battery life is much better but the kernel from emothers rom is a little better. Browser is super fast and smooth. I want to test the 720p kernel over it but need to know if it would work

It is highly unlikely that it will work. Gingerbread uses a new kernel and the 720p camera mod is using a froyo kernel. I personally would not try it. But you can always nandroid back-up and restore when your phone is not working from flashing the 720p kernel.

Yes! I too would donate to try and lure the great Enom back

I would also donate to Enom again. I love his builds. But I also understand that his family must come first. Not only financially, but physically and mentally he needs to be there for them and not mashing keys all night.

That's the point, we can't push him to come back, we must respect his decision.

I believe he knows we love him, and his rom.



I think the only thing we can do is hope he'll be back. We'll welcome him greatly if that will happen, that's all.

Latest CM Nightly has all but HD Camcorder... so I doubt you'll be waiting too long.

Also, for everyone who's having update notifications pop up that want to stay on their current ROM, flash this FOTAKill zip in recovery. It was extracted from the CM7 GApps and uploaded by temasek. It will stop update prompts. I used it when I was using this ROM for the last couple weeks.

Oh also the pull down notification power widget. Very key.

Yeah I realize Cm7 has these, but I'm looking for stability too. We'll see if the CM team can deliver.

OK - we all know the gold standard is Enom's ROM's. Assuming we won't see Enom again - has anyone had success with any of the other ROM's? Is there one that can be recommended? CY roms always seem to have the latest features - but some say they aren't as stable - as for all the rest - I've not tried them. Has anyone here?
