To add to atuser's post, just make sure that you have repartitioned your storage to at least 1GB system and 4 GB data if you haven't already....Please search for the repitting thread to proceed....I'd recommended Lanchon REPIT
But what kernel should i use?

You cannot flash via stock recovery...You must be on a custom one..... First flash a custom recovery like Philz and backup your current ROM....Then repartition your device using the link given by atuser or Lanchon REPIT....Then flash IsoRec compatible kernel from the IsoRec (TWRP version) thread and flash updated offical TWRP over it if you want the latest TWRP... Now you can flash RR

Does anyone experience huge battery drain on this ROM? When I am surfing via WiFi my phone becomes hot in the upper part of the device.

Where to go in the Settings to increase the vibration intensity (when message arrived) ?
I'm asking this because some CM Roms have this in the settings.
Thank you all.

Is there any intention to reintroduce the "Analog audio thru USB when docked" that works so well with original firmware (and with very old CM based ones indeed).
I really miss this feature, I'd like to play my music on my hi-fi when the phone is charging.
Thanks

Hello,

As per the instructions this rom should be flashed using the latest TWRP.
My S2 is currently running with RR Lollipop 5.1.1_r16 with Kernel version 3.0.64-CM-g1eec32b...
How can I flash the TWRP. Reading the installation instructions of TERP I need a Kernel that is IsoRec compatible. Is my kernel compatible?
If not, how can I install it?

Thanks a lot.

Well I'm not sure how to follow these instructions that's why I'm asking if my kernel is compatible.

Any help?

Flash the isorec TWRP from your recovery. This will install it on the recovery partition. It will not otherwise effect anything like rom/kernel booting. If you reboot into recovery and the recovery hasn't changed, then your kernel is not isorec compatible.

BUT once you do have a kernel that is isorec compatible this newer recovery will boot. No need to ever flash it again either way.

Just flash this rom with a kitkat compatible recovery, preferably TWRP(CWM has trouble installing open gapps). You might have to install an older bundled kernel/recovery if you have CM recovery right now(I'm not sure whether they have fixed that recovery yet). If that is the case, don't try to boot into system; just reboot back to recovery to flash the new rom

Thanks for the reply.
If my kernel is not isorec compatible which kernel shall I flash before flashing twrp-3.0.2-0-i9100.zip? Currently my kernel is 3.0.64-CM-g1eec32b.

Thanks a lot

Its not important which kernel. You just want a recovery that can
1. Flash the isorec TWRP(you only need to do this once), and
2. Flash the rom/gapps
Which recovery do you have?
