After watching online video streams wifi suddenly drops connection and reconecting afterwards, its only mine bug? Latest Rom and kernel(17th oct).
Also u-touch seems breaks sometimes, reboot helping

Huge frame drops in higher quality youtube videos

When I watch youtube videos in some higher quality (720p60 and up) and 2x playback speed, I got huge frame drops, almost like a constant frameskipping in games.
Forcing the gpu to run in performance mode doesnt help either
Is this a cpu related problem?

Same here, 1.5x.speed in YouTube stutters...

This looks like some cache limitation. I'll check what can be done.

    So we had a Kernel with EAS support, and now we have a AEX 4.5 AEX 4.6 build with it:)

    KERNEL FEATURES:
    • EAS support.
    • Additional I/O scheduler(Fiops(by default), noop, Maple, Tripndroid.

    1. Can it be installed over official AEX?
    It should be possible. Clean flash is always top 1 choise for you, but you may give it a try. Remember to wipe caches.
    2. Can I install custom kernels?
    No one prevents you from flashing it, and it will work(most likely), but you will lose EAS support and why not use official ones with custom kernel,
    huh?
    3. Whats the difference between Official and this one AEXs?
    F1xy kernel(not "Legendary battery life")(useless placebo patches and "magical" optimizations)(obviously more, check my GitHub).
    Full EAS support(latest powerhal from Pixel, powered by Google and kernel support included)
    Various smoothness tweaks + attempt to make LTE and 3G connection more stable.
    4. Why is CPU underclocked to 1.4/1.7 GHz?

    Alright, I decided to stick with AEX for EAS update. It is the most updated ROM for Z2 and everything is ready for building. So... Give me a few days and everything will be ready)

    Hello guys !
    Sorry for disturbing but I just need to let you know that a "small" cleaning has been performed in order to redirect this development thread to its normal course before the floods will cause more damages.

    Personal vendetta is definitely unwelcome , I bet that the large majority of us wants to see useful posts like, " I have found this problem , here`s my log / evidence", "I`ve found a workaround, this is how to" and some more similar and not drama and crossfire between users.

    We have the Forum rules , whenever one needs to post and doesn`t know how, must read them or simply ping a moderator, unpleasant posts also must be reported and personal issues taken to pm and if not solved, reported.
