Is anyone having problems using tether? I got it working when following the instructions to add the line in build.prop then use the terminal emulator and it worked. Laptop connected and had internet but then when I tried the next day my laptop was able to connect but had "no internet".

Another issue I'm having is when I try to check apn I goto Settings - More - Mobile network and mobile network won't open. I think another thread for another android had people doing a hard reset. Before I do that maybe there is something I can do?

1. Flash TWRP recovery image

2. Flash Systemless SuperSU in TWRP recovery

3. While still in TWRP recovery, select Mount and check system. Make sure you allow changes.

4. Connect your phone to your PC and issue the below commands:

adb shell
echo "net.tethering.noprovisioning=true" >> /system/build.prop
adb reboot

5. Now, install Terminal Emulator app from the Play Store and launch it.

6. In Terminal Emulator, enter below code one by one:

su
settings put global tether_dun_required 0
exit

EDIT: ok I did it again and got it working. I'll check again tomorrow to see if it's still working and maybe reboot and try to make sure its not resetting something after a reboot.

EDIT 2: checked today and it's not working. It's back to connected with no internet. So bizarre that if I go through all the steps it works then doesn't the next day. Anyone have an idea why it's doing that?

EDIT 3: This time I just did the last step with the terminal emulator and nothing, then I rebooted phone and it worked. Maybe I need to run the last step everytime since maybe something disables after a while.

EDIT 4: Again tried using it today and nada(nothing). This time I just rebooted without doing anything and immediately turned on the tether and it worked. So for some reason after using the phone a while the tether then won't work but upon rebooting it will work. I'm fine with that. Just curious as to why.

From Link share #http://club.huawei.com/thread-14760908-1-1-4298.html

【ROM Details】
This version is based on the official EMUI8.0 modified production, and for moderate streamlining.
New features embed code, the perfect fusion with the original Emui style.

I don't see why not. I flashed this on my USA L29C567B190. I am on it. It runs great.
I flashed on my USA L29C567B190 AS WELL. and I have some issues updating Chrome and when download something there's an error saying that unable to download due to SD card missing. I don't know how to go back to the stock firmware :(
Any help please!!

---------- Post added at 07:11 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:05 AM ----------

I have a L29C567B190 and when I flashed the first time it seemed to be acting like the fROM Future I had on before because it wouldn't install FB or FB msgr and my eKey work app woldn't run so I wiped everything again and even formatted to make sure no encryption and now it's fine. My question is why does build still say fRomFuture B198? The boot animation is still "future" branded. I don't care but just want to make sure I didn't mess something up.

edit: dumb question but this is probably what is meant by it needs to be rebranded? I was thinking branding was something that actually affected the running but it's probably just the stuff I just talked about, duuuhhhh, silly me =)

The battery percentage won't display after I select it to show in the battery menu. Edit: Ok got it to show inside the icon. It just won't work outside.

Is there a way to get the weather widget that was in the stock M9?
I just flashed to my USA L29C567B190.

Hi everyone, first of all I want to thanks the developer for this such a great ROM.
I Have MHA-L29C567B190 US version.
Espheral is working fast and smooth so far,but I'd like to remove SuperSU in order to install magisk.we know that magisk has a lot of features more than SuperSU.
I noticed that I won't be able to uninstall it because the boot image or I don't know the reason.
Is there any way to remove SuperSU and make magisk functional on this ROM?
Thanks!

You will need to use Full unroot in SuperSU app and stock boot.img but kangvip tool will not work anymore I believe.

I did the unroot process with him SuperSu already, but I it was unsuccessful.
By the time when I flash magisk I got error.
I noticed another bug on Xposed framework. I won't be able to install any module. Even if I update to the recent version.
But I am more interested about Magisk.

Because magisk needs stock boot.img u need to install stock boot.img. Magisk v14 will work. V15 and up won't work. Good luck!

    END OF LIFE
Flash this ROM at your own risk. I am not responsible for anything that happens to your device when flashing. Confirmed working on AL00. Tested on MHAL29C567.

The goal of this ROM is to rid of any unnecessary apps along with providing a complete Google experience. In the future this ROM will feature an AROMA installer but for now I am looking to squash bugs and make sure it's as smooth as possible.

    Features:

    Gboard
    Huawei International Music App
    Android O Emojis
    Decrypted
    Rooted
    ViPER4Android
    Call Recording
    DT2W
    AdAway
    KangVIP Tools
    Xposed Ready
    Deodexed
    Debloated
    More to come/etc.

    Noted Bugs:

    -DT2W doesn't work
    Test and let me know.

    How to install:

Note: TWRP must be installed, see above for download link.
Note: This is for the AL00 variant, rebranding may be required for ROM to function.
Note: ROM will restart on initial boot, this is due to SuperSU patching the boot.img to prevent the filesystem from being encrypted. If it doesn't boot after the first restart hold power to restart it a second time, should boot without any issues.

    1. Head on over to the downloads section and grab the latest version.
    2. If you'd like to clean install (recommended) wipe data, cache, dalvik, and system.
    3. Flash ROM file

    Thanks to:

    FAQ:
Does it work on MHAL29--- ?
Some have reported success. Haven't seen any post saying it hasn't. Flash with a backup and a confirmed working ROM on a external SD Card. -Just to add rebranding may not be required but it is recommended.

If I rebrand do I have to unlock the bootloader and install TWRP again?
Yes. Most importantly when rebranding, you will LOSE all data on your internal storage.

    Are the Google Apps preinstalled?
Yes, the core GApps are installed. PlayStore, etc.

    What is Xposed Ready?
This means once Xposed is released for Nougat, all you'd have to do is flash it.

    What is Decrytped?
This means force encryption is off. TWRP will be able to read all files. You can read more about it in the forums.

How do I flash the Removed Apps zips?
You don't. You take the folder/app you want and stick into app or priv-app then set permissions and reboot.

Can you add Galaxy/whatever other phone there is Apps, Launcher, etc.?
If you wanted a Galaxy, you should've bought a Galaxy phone.

    Helpful Tips:
-If you're having trouble with notifications freeze Phone Manager. You'll lose the ability to track battery and data but it is a guaranteed fix. You can do so with an app like Ice Box.
-If you're having trouble removing chinese characters in notification panel or lockscreen go to Advanced Settings and turn off lunar status bar. Advanced Settings > Notification Settings > Show statusbar lunar.
-If you're having issues with Google Play make sure Google Services are NOT disabled. Go to Advanced Settings > More settings > Disable google services.

    Workarounds:
-There's some stubborn bloat I'm having trouble removing (especially when installing on an AL00.) It causes no harm just remove them with a system app remover from the play store.

    Changelog:

    Code:
    10/19/17:
    -Added Xposed
-Change in script to remove bloat
    -Playstore fix
    -Updated to B231

    7/16/17:
    -Added HwVPlayer back
-Updater Script change in attempt to remove stubborn bloat
    -Updated base to B225

    6/25/17:
    -Initial release

    6/10/17:
    -Initial build

Been doing some serious testing with Magisk, VoLTE, bloatware, and a few other things for awhile now. Some things are taking too long so in the meantime I've pushed out a B231 update. Changelog in second post. Added some helpful tips, be sure to give them a read.

    Upload is now live.

Welp, it's official, I'm shutting this project down. Google pretty much blacklisted Chinese devices from the Play Store servers (I'm sure some have noticed 404 errors). That along with the fact that Huawei continuously makes it harder for development just isn't worth the hassle. All download links will stay live for as long as possible. I'm disappointed all the time I spent has gone to waste and the community expectations were not met. Huawei devices have beautiful hardware, but the support is just disgusting. Which is something well known but my stubbornness just allowed me to realize it. It really is a shame. Wish you all the best.

    B231 in the works.

Special thanks to @spinward for providing me the opportunity to properly test the ROM. Will be ironing out lots of issues from the last build and making sure there's no chinese.
