Since N40 I got a really strange problem. My volume keeps increasing randomly. I have my OPO always on "Vibration only" and randomly it keeps turning the volume up to the lowest volume. has anybody an idea on this?

Guys I have read all the posts since N41 and N42 were released. That's why I have decided to stay on N40. This build is running nearly perfectly on my A0001. No bugs, no issues, no reboots, absolutely nothing!
The same apply to N41 and N42

I have noticed the "OTAUpdate" app use ever de1.androidfilehost.com as source...... when you download a file for AFH from pc it's be possible to choose what mirror prefer to use and i have noticed sometime the "dutch" mirrors it's not reachable.
If it's can be possible to add this feature... somethigs to make possible to choose mirrors of AFH on current OTAUpdate i thinks it's possible to reduce all the cause of trouble........
I have also noticed you have include a mirror of github of the current OTAUpdate app........ someone speak english better like me can try to report this little trouble directly to developers and open an issue traker. it's not a bad idea... you thinks ?
You are mixing stuff, OTA reads a file placed online with all the info about new rom, including the link to download the update. This link when generated one time, after few days AFH change this link to another one, since don't have time to update the file online where OTA reads all the information, it fails downloading, have a solution for that, OTA would open the page and then you download the update manually, this fix the problem of AFH changing the direct link to download.
About the mirror it's just in case, this project of OTA long time ended. Sorry mate.
Will probably opt in for the option to you guys mannually download, OTA will notify, but when you press the download OTA will open on browser the place to download the update. It's the only solution for now, or then find other free host with good speeds, download stats, that don't change direct link download of file when generated the first time.

mmmmmmmm.... on my previous reply i have expose i my guess on how to works the OTAUpdate but trust me i have search also ask in the italian thread of tugapower inside the official oneplus forum and now after that i have a much more clearer idea how OTAUpdate app it's works.... thanks for this full explanation
The only information that I had found so far it's other member report some similar trouble like me and this led me to think that the OTAUpdate it's contain some parts bugged or similar.......... but I lacked this information that, in the light of the facts, show that I was wrong....
Why not host on GitHub? Or the Google Drive? They can handle a lot of traffic.
Or you can write a client-side script that will fetch and parse AFH's download page for the direct link.
Google Drive if i remember has a limit for days for download...........
Servicely is a god one for killing running services and make apps sleep. L speed is also a good one for tweaks. Use both with caution though. Hebf is also good i think havent used it much though
And kernel aduitor is good

Since I flashed N42 I'm having text messages come through late, delayed, or out of order. I've noticed it while I'm at work and connected to the wifi, I'll get a blast of messages after the wifi disconnects. Not sure if i just need to clean flash or something else behind the scenes going on.
Maybe your boss as started filtering the content of what the employee workers are accessing and it's blocking
Just wanted to pop in and say that I'm using this ROM for more than a year now, and it has been instrumental in making me stick with my OnePlus One.

I have 3 issues with this ROM and my OPO:
- When I plug my phone to charge it the silence or viber mode disappear, the ringtone is activated at the lowest audio level (that's strange)
- I can't transfer files from my phone to computer, I have not the notification to switch from "charging" to "MTP" or other. I tried to install ADB etc on Windows it don't works, I tried on Mac OS same problem. I tried to change the microUSB cable, it's the same. My brother's OPO is working well on the same computer with the same cable. I tried to wipe all, factory reset and I got the normal notification to switch from charging to MTP etc, it worked nice since I reinstalled my apps. So it's maybe not the rom but one of my apps ? Is it possible ?
- Snapchat crashes a lot, when I edit photos, when I read Stories, but I think it's a Snapchat problem, not supporting 7.1.2 ?

By default, Android shuts Data when connected to Wifi. Data is how mms (and frequently group sms) get sent.

Correct but its also supposed to kick back on to pull messages in. Mine doesn't seem to do that at the moment.
