[ROM][EOL][onyx] CyanogenMod 14.1 for Oneplus X

I installed the ROM correctly and it works perfectly.
The problem happens when I install GApps. I've tried both ARM 7.0 Stock and ARM 7.0 Pico versions of Open GApps. Both end up in google play services crashing every time I try to do anything google, including just adding an account.

If I install GApps first, then the setup process will involve adding an account through google and I won't have the ability to get past setup and into the phone.

However, if I install the ROM, boot it and then go through setup, then go back and flash GApps, I can boot the phone and use it, which is how I know the whole ROM itself is working well, but as soon as I open a google app it will ask to add an account and play services will crash.

Is there a different set of GApps I should be using? Or is this a problem with the ROM's interaction with google apps?

Usually in this situation you want to try open gapps from another date. I'm using nano currently from the 18th and not giving me any problems.

Couldn't push builds for a long time (my pc was borked) :/. Anyways, here's a new 7.1 build

I had exactly this issue with all Android 6 and 7.0 ROMs. But finally with the Android 7.1 Beanstalk it was fixed. Long Relief.
So, yes I think all ROMs with 7.1 should not have this issue any longer.

Not facing in all ROMs facing this issue in only 2 ROMs CM 14.1 and CrDroid 7.1..tried in DU,BeanStalk,TeslaN,AOSIP 7.0,AOSPextended,and almost all MM ROMs all working fine only problem with these 2 ROMs.

Edit: settings crash occasionally when developer options enabled. Data signal fluctuations, compared to stable signal in OOS 3.14.

You may want to try a factory reset, pop out your sim, re flash the ROM and insert after setup.

I used pico 7.1 gapps ... No issues.

Flashed the newest build with stock Gapps from opengapps. No crashes at all! This ROM certainly came a long way since its start. My only gripe right now is that AdAway can't install using the default cm root.

But that does not work to me: Ambient display, adaptive brightness and live display. Today, when I left home, so I have not worked mobile data, I had to restart the mobile data

Flashed the new 20/11 release coming from the 10/27.

Full wipe, flash ROM, flash latest OpenGApps mini package, rebooted.
No app optimization is done during the first boot. Pixel launcher not found. Settings app crashing twice after enabling developer settings. Google play app sync not proposing a backup for my apps and is not working at all, had to reinstall all my apps manually.
Kinda unstable.
I'm gonna try with the stock GApps package.

I believe app optimization is done in the background. Still new to the seen don't think google restore will work on nougat. I had settings crash also once while setting developer options . nothing since. May I suggest open gapps nano worked good for me.

I just wanted Pixel Launcher, I'm using it since it has been "released", flashing his zip manually, but when I installed the 10/27 release with the mini package, it was included, and I was very enthusiastic about that.
Too bad, it isn't included in this release and neither in the Full GApps package.

I'll test the rom further anyway.

Edit: Don't know if it's rom-related (never had this issue with previous releases), but the CM file manager can't access to the external storage. It says "this operation requires higher authorization, try in Root mode", but I enabled Root mode in developer settings and in the app too.
