The thing is I don't have a backup...I flashed the latest firmware through Odin and then flashed this ROM..but still it does not recognise the sim..any help??
Network still draining battery even in air mode and phone is hot on camera/flash place and display place behind camera is hot too.

Flash nougat. If it's still not working I don't really know how I can help you if you don't have a backup with EFS
I flashed the new ROM and my note II won't boot, it stays at splash. I will try to download and flash it again

I think he installed your rom and wonder, why he has no mobile network.
As MartinX3 said, I have installed your ROM of "lineage-15.1-20181207". My mobile phone is t0lte. The current installation is 14.1. I have installed 14.1 back to normal! So consult you whether your ROM supports t0lte! Thank you!
It dosen't support because N7105 has another RIL and I can't make a ROM without having that device because I can't test. For N7100 I flashed around 300 ROMs untill I made it boot. And 150 to fix RIL
