"Enabled Burn in Protection as default" question what does that even mean? Are you referring to the idiots on here that are amazed that code even changes or do you mean you locked the sound up for the dilemma the world has created for us to re-understand life? lol

Some people playing with their lighter and the screen.
This should protect the screen. :silly:

It means that static icons that are always showed will move a little from time to time to protect the super amoled display :)

Installed the ROM yesterday and found it to be damn smooth. Easily scores over all custom nougats out there in performance. Except for the already mentioned issue like sensors and GPS not working, I have not discovered any bugs yet. I hope you can fix these in a future release. You have kept my 6 yr old phone still alive and kicking, will make a donation soon :)

I am very used to haptic feedback on the keyboard. I am very used to "vibration on tap". Any idea how to enable that? I would enable vibration on keystrokes and MENU/BACK keypress. Thanks for the brilliant work once again.

comparing with nougat ROMS, here are my observations:

screen mirroring/cast works now
connection with bluetooth speakers work perfectly (used to automatically get disconnected every 15-20 mins with nougat)
with bluetooth headset media works well, but when i make/receive call audio doesn't work.
no random reboots in last 4 days
improved performance and battery life

So I tried to flash this ROM with the google pico apps and unrooted, just the ROM and the google apps. I had a quite unstable build I got to say. Sometimes it booted up to a black screen. 2nd method I tried the same as the previous attempt but this time with the magisk for rooting the device. same thing here! not stable and quite laggy! I ended up flashing the latest of CRDroid unrooted and just with the google apps . and its super blazing fast and super stable! not a single ERROR has yet occured! its running android 7.1 or .2 not sure. anyways I didnt post here to tell you crap to ur face, but atleast I have tried your ROM and I think its far from beeing stable. I had the latest TWR recovery and always made clean install of all my attempts. whipe dalvik and cache. format everything etc. good luck buddy! hope to see you get your ROM out to be proper and stable soon!

On the contrary, I found this ROM to be more stable and bug-free compared to all nougat ROMs out there. Except for the GPS/sensors issue, I did not find any other problems while I used it for about a week.

All the nougat ROMs on this forum run well initially , but after a couple of weeks you start experiencing performance issues and lags.

I am pinning my hopes on this ROM. Hopefully, comico will be able to fix all the pending issues soon.

Unfortunately, I have to confirm this opinion - I tried with many Nougats and the effect was always the same - at the beginning, everything worked quickly and smoothly, but with time there were problems with automatic resetting.
Until today, I am on KK 4.4.4 AC and so far, I have offended other Nougats, that's why I am waiting for the final version of it hopefully - I wish the Maker success and perseverance.
