[ROM][EPIC120]Canvas 2 Colours A120 **More Free RAM**

Please read the whole thread before posting your query !!

My purpose behind this ROM was to help those who think free RAM is not enough, this ROM usually gives 500+ free RAM after you clear all recent app and it gives 650+ free RAM on boot, see screenshots at the end of this post, EPIC ROM uses better Kernel to improve RAM management, there are no useless tweaks done by me, you can do that after flashing

EPIC ROM WEAPONS-

1.More free RAM as I said above
2.Heating issue solved/minimised
3.All micromax and meditek junk apps removed
4.It uses adfree hosts, no app will show ads
5.Gps.conf file modded for fast GPS lock [India only]
6.Zipaligned on every boot for better multitasking
7.Camera works perfectly 8mp at fullscreen preview
8.EPIC uses completely STOCK UI (AOSP)
9.Battery Drain overnight minimised to 1% maybe 0% :silly:
10.Google bootanimation for fun :victory:
11.ROM is prerooted with latest supersu app
12.Lightest ROM for C2C = 158mb :victory:​

Bugs-

None till now, you tell me​

Instructions-

1.Be very careful, dragons ahead
2.You must have CWM recovery
3.Make backup of your current ROM using cwm
4.Wipe data/factory reset
5.Go to advance and wipe dalvik cache
6.Go to mounts and storage and format /system
7.Choose install zip from sdcard
8.Choose "A120_signed_EPIC_070814_171912.zip"
9.Reboot, I hope you like it ​

IMPORTANT Notes-

1.Turn off zero shutter lag in camera to make it smoother also you can change preview to fullscreen
2.Go to settings->Audio profiles and turn off audio enhancer because it's sh*t
3.Only APEX launcher is included, STOCK launcher flashable zip will be given later
4.You may post the name of any junk mmx app if you need it​

You may flash this without wiping anything if you are already on V1.0 but I reccomend flashing again after full wipe

Installation-
You have to flash this after flashing V1.1 , just flash the V1.2 16mb zip without wiping anything then wipe dalvik cache and reboot, this will update your V1.1 to V1.2 and will not delete any of your apps or data

1.Reduced vm heapsize to 96mb, now even better ram management as all apps will use less ram
2.This is the lightest and smoothest C2C ROM till now = 230mb only
3.New better tweaks, tested by me in past few days, check below
4.Added the following scripts to Init.d, check /data and /data/Fly-On for logs

-00sqlite --> this will add sqlite3 and libncurses then will delete itself, this will increase benchmarks
-03kill_media_server --> kills media server on boot to save battery and ram
-07cleaner --> cleans unnecessary data on every boot
-09detailing --> this will optimise app database on every boot
-92cleaner --> clears logs and tombstones on every boot
-93darky_zipalign --> zipaligns /system/app on every boot
-94zipaligndata -->zipaligns /data/app on every boot

3.Added google bootanimation to reduce size and boot speed
5.Removed gmail and google search, you can install latest version from playstore
6.AOSP messaging app included
7.Changed default language to english (US)

Instructions- Flash this after a full wipe, follow instructions from 1st post

NOTE- If you want your device to be adfree then reboot normally after flashing ROM, login to your google account, then reboot into recovery and flash adfree.zip without wiping anything and finally reboot

7.Default launcher is apex, it has more free features than nova
8.Adfree withdrawn to support free app developers, flash zip attached below for adfree


Bugs- You might get a wierd empty icon in app drawer, just go to apex/nova settings --> drawer settings --> hide that empty app

Maybe because it's new kernel and I have added "pm.sleep_mode=1" in build.prop

Those who flashed it, please tell me the results, i need your opinions for updates

I installed this rom and this is really fast. Excellent stock rom. As op said, in this rom more free RAM is there. Great work. I played Real Racing 3, its working fine.

Bugs I found : Front camera swap button is greyed out, I don't know why. Please look into this.

Otherwise great rom:good:
If I come across any other bug, I'll inform you.
