The Lightning Bolt rom says that it works with Metamorph but this one doen't mention it. Is this rom compatible? Anyone know where I can find some good themes?
This rom won't work with metamorph. It is a stock sense based verizon rom. It would need to be doedexed for metamorph to work. The Lightning Bolt rom says that it works with Metamorph but this one doen't mention it. Is this rom compatible? Anyone know where I can find some good themes?
Thanks, that's what I thought. This rom won't work with metamorph. It is a stock sense based verizon rom. It would need to be doedexed for metamorph to work.
To overclock you need to use setcpu or overclock widget from the market. when you first run either of those apps the super user app will pop up requesting permission and you can click always allow. You don't need to open the super user app at all. Hope this answers your question.Just rooted my Eris and loaded this Rom... I was interested in this Rom cuz I thought it had the Overclock Utility in the super user permissions.... but when I go into the super User permissions,,, its EMPTY! Should there be something in there with this Rom? Everything else seems to be there that I can tell so far,

This camera should work fine in this rom. Maybe a try reflashing it if you can't get it to work.I just noticed that my camera doesn't work. It's just a black screen. Has anyone else had this problem?

What size partitions are you making. Try doing the first size(swap) at 0 and then second size at the default of 512 when you are setting up the partitions. Then flash the rom after you have partioned the sd card.Had the rom installed for 2 days. is pretty amazing. Was working on trying to get app2SD working but when i do the steps listed in orignial post. My phone just sits in a boot cycled, i have to undo all the partitioning and then re-flash to get it to boot. no idea how to get it out of a boot cycle.
uninstall the themed battery widget through adb shell or a terminal on your phone then the updated one should install. I have no idea on the radar causing lag. I actually havn't run this rom myself in a while. Glad your enjoying though....be sure to check out my Cyanogen 2.1 rom too as it is pretty stable and I'm workin on Cyanogen Froyo build...I was getting more and more peeved everyday that my internal memory was almost full from only a small amount of apps, and that I hadn't been able to root since I leaked a month before the OTA 2.1. Finally, I correctly rooted (a HUGE thanks to everyone who figured that out!) and went looking for some sweet ROMs and came across this... and i just wanted to say... THANK YOU!!! This ROM rocks!!I successfully was able to set up the three partitions on my SD so Apps2SD works PERFECT, camera has no problems... NOTHING has any problems so far. Got my CPU at 710mhz, no damn AmazonMP3 app
, and I love the look, the white dialer key update and the choices of notification bar clocks. I love IT all in general. Ill update with any bugs if i find any... but i doubt i will
Thank you Conap!!!
I do however have one quick question... The battery level widget that you added to this ROM... I like it, but id rather have the newer green one from the market (told me I could update, apparently this is just an older red version of Geekyouup's Battery Widget) but when I try to install I get "Installation Error: Package file was not signed correctly" Any idea how i could change this to the newer one?
EDIT* After opening the Weather Channel apps radar, my phone gets a lil buggy and slow. Any idea why this is? Nothing a simple reboot can't fix, as long as I don't look at the radar.
Awesome! Worked just perfect! I'm not actually positive if the radar was the issue, I actually think now that my CPU may have played a roll in that. I've been looking into Eris froyo ROMs and if I choose any, it'd be yours, cause I've seen some great feedback on it! Keep up the great work and thanks for the answer!uninstall the themed battery widget through adb shell or a terminal on your phone then the updated one should install. So far, most of these Roms are stable at 710mhz. Some people like 710 over 528mhz, I prefer 528 over 240mhz (my phone will charge a lot quicker) but always remember, a higher mhz kills battery quicker.I just installed this to my phone and so far I am loving it!! This is my first time rooting so I am still very new to this. A couple questions for the developer..I installed the overclock widget..what are the parameters that you would suggest as far as overclocking? Also I cannot get my Facebook contacts to link up with my People contacts..any suggestions on how to fix this. I have rebooted my phone twice to try and get it to work. Thanks!
