Each phone is different but most phones won't handle over 768. Thats what I would recomend for the max. If it still locks up you keep going down untill you find one that runs or you can start at lower and keep moving up till it locks up then set it back to where it ran ok.

yeah I have had trouble with the xda app and apps2sd with 2 different roms so I'm not sure what the problem is there...when you say restarts do you mean the whole phone reboots?

Text fields

I like and use this Rom. I try other roms and come back to "bolt" because it works and is fast. The only thing that is difficult for me is the red highlight in the text fields. It is very difficult to see what you are typing. Is there a simple way to remove the highlighting?

Thanks....Are you referring to the red around the boxes when you are typing? I did remove the highlighting in landscape view because it was in the way. I have been trying to clean up some of the graphics a little at a time and I will see what I can do with it. I am releasing an update in a few minutes that has some updated graphics too. Nothing major just some little stuff and I put htc contacts back in.

This can be an issues with the JIT executables but I haven't had this happen at all on my phone. Did you do a full wipe before you installed it? Are you using the helix launcher?

I the idea of this Rom but it was really lagging no matter what I oc'ed at. Did a full wipe before install, and the lag was less pronounced when using home instead of helicopter or nexus. Lagged especiay bad when coming out of an app back to the home screen, and then trying to slide to a different screen. Switched over running Lightning now. Seems lime I had probe with NOT on another ROM I was running a while back also. Have had no probe with lightning , like the whole red theme of the Rom.

Ok now that i have turned prediction off i meant helix and nexus, and had problems with jit on another rom. Please use these to replace in the necessary areas in my last post.

Yes, it's the red around the typing text boxes. Everything works great. I am consistantly at 4.5+ mflops and no fc's. Best rom out there.

I may just take it out...its a problem with the png because it stretches the image depending on the size of the box so I can't seem to get it right lol... I managed to get 5.5 mflops

granted I was in airplane mode and also had it overclocked so high that I couldn't even close Linpack without the phone locking up but still....lol but yeah I hit around 5 mflops usually at 768mhz with out getting force closes. This was also my first time trying a non stock browser and am really liking Dolphin.

Installed 1.4 and it runs flawlessly so far. That new dolphin browser is pretty nice. I haven't had any problems with the stock browser though. The dolphin hd looks like more fun. I keep my speed a 710. Plenty fast and never an fc. Had given up on jit before. I'm glad you figured a base in which it to work.

Have you seen a zip to remove the clock and verizon wireless from your lock screen? I tried a rom a while back that had it removed and it was perfect as the clock on the home screen shows through the transparent lock screen.

anyway to get YouTube to play high quality by default? evileris 2.1 has that so I know it is possible. I'm very happy with this rom. its very complete and pretty stable with the exception of one reboot.

This ROM kicks butt on speed. I don't know if you have ever used the new mytouch slide browser, but it is very fast and has some really cool features. It's pinch zoom is the smoothest I have ever used on any android phone, smooth like the iphone browser and it also has the new magnifier that makes it super easy to copy words in the browsed. maybe it would play a little nicer with this build. Just throwing it out there.
