To clarify, I'm looking for steps to get the updates without having to reload my apps / reset personal settings and welcome suggestions. Thx.
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:

- Copy crDroid ZIP to your external SDCard

- Boot into Recovery

- Wipe system and cache

- Flash crDroid zip

- Flash Gapps

- Reboot

@firebird11 May I request that in a future build the maximum speaker volume be increased? I find when using some apps, Dou for example, even with the volume on Max it's too low, I've adjusted every volume setting I could find but still the same. Everything else works great, thanks for a great ROM.

None here, works great.

Cool. I saw someone mention that issue with LOS elsewhere. crDroid used to be the best ROM for my LG g2, surprised to see it's not more popular here.

Anyone have tips on CPU settings? I just installed Omni as my first ROM for the Robin and 1 hr and 5 min of SOT took up 50% of the battery over 5 hours of power on time.

I'm also running the noop I/o scheduler to save some battery, and swappiness at 20 to keep pages from being swapped out of ram unnecessarily.

Strangely, I installed kernel adiutor and found that the hotplug setting had a default value of 2 min big cores online, and they were on all the time. I uninstalled adiutor and installed ex kernel manager and found that the default was 0 big cores online, and they actually cycle online under heavy load. So kernel adiuotor messed something up with the big cores.

Does anyone have issues with system freezes and having to hard reset?

Are your running CRDroid or Omni on the Nextbit? If CRDroid, my experience is the battery life is great and its very smooth, I don't have the urge to tweak it with a scheduler.

I'm running crdroid now, since Omni had horrendous battery life.

I like how crdroid aggressively turns off the big cores, yet it's still very smooth. On Omni, the big cores we're running all the time with the screen on.

What kind of screen on time do you get?

I also set all interface animations to 0x in Dev options, and disabled the Google app. I do these on all my phone's really.

@firebird11 and others, I'm looking for tweaks to increase the maximum speaker volume; I've heard the Kernel has faux sound but don't know how to access it, also tried Kernel adiutor but it doesn't have a sound option. Any suggestions how to adjust it? Thx

I'm not sure that the included kernel has Faux sound included. However, this one has it included and gives you some other useful tweaks.
