So I flashed clockwork mod v2.whatever and I got past that particular step, but now after copying and deleting many many files, I get this:

After all these months and trying out the latest and greatest ROMS out there.... THIS IS THE ONE THAT I KEEP COMING BACK. Perfect best ever ROM for Nexus one.
Talk about stable, my Nexus was up for at least 1524 hours w/o a single reboot/crash. That's over 2 months! And speeds were still fast during that whole time. This will probably be the best overall Sense ROM on the N1. Unfortuantely, all the newer Sense ROMs are too much for our dated N1's to handle...

Well with the release of gingerbread/trimmed down sense for the original desire I believe we would have another stable sense Rom in the nearest future. Fingers crossed.

Fingers crossed too. Even if they do release a slimmed down GB for the original Desire, that's only half the battle. Although there are still some excellent people working on Sense ROMs for the N1, all the best Sense developers have moved on to other devices.
(example: none of the new N1 Sense ROMs have TB Wake)Although I have a new Inspire 4G w/ Sense 3.0, I still come back to the N1 because of the hardware features like Trackball, Car/Desk dock, etc. Sadly, none of the new devices have contacts for docks or a trackball/trackpad. What a shame...

Anyways, I noticed you're the developer of the MT4G version of this ROM. What are your thoughts on getting Virtuous Unity to run on an N1? If anybody could do it, I'd bet you can... !

i just installed dbase Kernel V7 onto this rom and it works gread !!!
No issues ! TB Wakeup works fine ! Even Autodimm Display works now. Found one Issue : Camera is only Grey. i have to find a patch for that. i think there is one here at this forum...

6This was originally a Quick & Dirty port of udK's Froyo HTC Desire Sense ROM. Please give props to him. This is now based on the Official HTC Desire OTA 2.09x and has been slimmed down to fit on the N1 system partition. Thanks to the devs that made this port successful, Paul for starting it, cyanogen for the camera port & intersectRaven for the FM & BT. Thanks to all the flashers who have relentlessly told me of problems.
*As of 9/8/10, it's pretty much a complete port. Obviously bug fixes will keep going and other tweaks.**Recommended radio is 4.06, but 5.08 will work fine.
**I always recommend wiping before flashing. If in doubt. WIPE! It causes less problems.

Yes, you should use the old clockworkMod 2.x Version. The Installation Routine from that Rom is Amend Script and not Edify...
