It calls home every freaking 2 seconds hogging the little bandwidth we have wasting data and generally costing us a lot of money in data usage for no other advantage...

I was forced to install a firewall to stop it from calling home...

We hate it.

Dude,

First: In UK I'm on BT Infinity fibre broadband unlimited internet usage ...But when i'm deployed and i go to countries where internet is slow and unreliable i really hate it when the google crap is hogging the little bandwidth i have access to.

Secondly: I hate apps connecting behind my back to it's servers.. it's sneaky

Third , I'm pretty sure our Dev friend here has a lot on his plate with the upcoming update and the unresolved bugs already.

yes bor,just go www.apkmirror.com then find google phone version 5.1.1311226882 install as normal apk then go to settings and in apps disable cyan phone adn default phone app use google phone

You can delete Cyan Phone in System/app and replaced it with Google Phone then set psrmissions to 644 rw r r. Reboot and testing

one think make's your RR marshmallow xperia z rom so worst is performence . make lag when you try to lesten music and work with browser . our lesten music and play games . i hope this rom this issues are solved . thanks for reading . best regards

It is fixed Launcher freezing? (after many mins of screen is on Launcher not finger reactions). How i can eliminate this problem?
