Use Lineage OS instead of CM, CM is deprecated.

Do you have an unlocked bootloader? You need one for CM/Lineage OS.

I don't know if flashing CM out of dual recovery is possible. If not use "fastboot flash boot boot.img" with the cm/lineage boot.img, flash twrp and flash cm in that recovery (vol+ on boot will get you to twrp, vol- to cm recovery).

I think CM14.1 is better than CM13.. You might also try LineageOS!

Use the search function, there are several threads how to do it. Besides that: if you don't even know how to get a working recovery you shouldn't flash a custom rom.

3.Does lineage 14.1 has theme engine?

Please use lineage 14.1 and check if the problem is there too. There will be no more work on CM14.1.

You probably can, but it is not recommended. Just like it was when there was a CM update.

Stuck in boot animation

I got it working the first time,but as soon as I rebooted,got stuck in the boot animation. Already tried anything possible via TWRP recovery (wiping data,cache,etc) but nothing seens to work.

Try to flash the kernel (boot .img) of the rom you are flashing through bootloader and then flash rom.

Issues and reports

1. Report issues only if you use the ROM kernel
2. If an additional mod is installed, make sure it's unrelated, and mention it
3. Make sure the issue wasn't discussed earlier in the threads
4. Share a log of the error with CatLog for example

Installation Instructions

1. Download the latest build
2. Place ROM in your SD card or Internal Storage
3. Reboot into recovery mode
4. Full wipe and factory reset (recommended)
5. Flash ROM (ignoring E:unknown command [log] for now)
6. Reboot

2. Place the build in your SD card or Internal Storage
3. Reboot into recovery mode
4. Wipe cache and dalvik cache
5. Flash build
6. Reboot
