Press power + vol up and as soon as the sony logo appears press power + vol down for a few secs. If it doesn't boot then flash twrp again in fastboot, then boot in recovery. It seems I can't even get into the TWRP recovery mode any more. I tried rebooting into recovery but it keeps taking me to this new screen I haven't seen before. I tried reflashing twrp but same result. How can I get to TWRP to flash an older version?
If you have lineage recovery then you probably checked the option to switch to it during phone setup. I didn't know this option is working btw.I tried all of that but I keep getting booted into the Lineage recovery (v19.1 20220918). It seems I can no longer get into TWRP.
I tried flashing TWRP multiple times and still the same thing. I don't remember selecting that option since I did a dirty flash and didn't have to go through phone set up.If you have lineage recovery then you probably checked the option to switch to it during phone setup. So you tried flashing TWRP again, right? If you have Lineage recovery you can't boot in TWRP because you don't have TWRP but Lineage recovery instead.
Fixing that should be as easy as flashing TWRP again.
I think there is. In TWRP, before installing the ROM, **format** (not just wipe) the data partition. Then install the ROM. You should then be able to boot properly. Now it boot loops to TWRP upon every restart. Is there any way out of this nightmare?
Why aren't you making backups of them? Use Aegis (fdroid) or Authenticator Pro (Izzy repo on froid) to create an encrypted backup so you just import the file and you have your 2FA codes back!Thank you petefoth for getting me back up and running. Just to follow up on the original problem: For me, I experienced the network disconnect/reconnect loop issue on 1.4, 1.5, and 1.6. 1.3 works fine though, so I'm sticking with that. Now I begin the arduous work of resetting all of my 2FA logins to all of my online accounts :/
Very late, but yea I tried like all versions of LineageOS 19.1 and none of them ever ended up working. The only thing that worked was just using LineageOS 18. I don't know why T-Mobile just doesn't work past 18. I didn't even know LineageOS 20 for the XZ1c came out either but I assume that T-Mobile still doesn't work.We are both having the same issue it sounds like. Which version of LineageOS 19.1 did you flash and have these issues on? Was it 1.6 perhaps? Have you tried an earlier build, or did you find any potential solutions?
I can't imagine why a bug would be carrier specific, but regardless, for anyone else that might be in the thread, if you are on T-Mobile, do not upgrade to 19.1 v1.6...
I tried flashing LOS 20, and yeah, same issue. I ended up Formatting everything today and re-flashing LOS 19.1 v1.3 specifically (the only version T-Mobile has worked on for me in the past) and it connected instantly. Its a problem that started with LOS 19.1 v1.4 and has been carried up uncorrected all throughout LOS 20 for this device.Very late, but yea I tried like all versions of LineageOS 19.1 and none of them ever ended up working. Well okay, I'm dumb because I tried like LOS 17, 18 and LOS 19 but only the versions after 1.4 lol. I flashed 1.3 and T-Mobile works fine, but still, I guess we can't use LOS 20 :-(I tried flashing LOS 20, and yeah, same issue. I would be interested in hearing if LOS 19.1 v1.3 would work for you as it did for me, but I also understand if you're tired of experimenting with broken ROMs at this point lol
No problem mate. And I definitely don't blame you for not trying a version three updates behind. I can't believe this bug still hasn't been addressed or even documented. Thanks for letting me know though because now I can use Android 12 lol.

I have constant freezes with chromium based browsers on 1.5. Anyone else have this problem?
Great to see this rom continuing to be updated, however is there any information on what has changed between 1.3 and 1.4, and then to 1.5? Is @No1Alien able to update the posts on the first page with relevant info? How are people finding out about the new releases, other than manually checking the AFH page each day?
same here chromium browsers freeze and sync bookmarks is not working in chrome, and i saw the same report in xz1 thread, i wonder should i go back to 1.3 that worked fine or 1.4 that i never tested?
Chrome, opera, brave are all freeze force quit. System WebView Downgrade & upgraded still no luck. The stock browser is fine thoo.
The battery life is crazy best for S0-02K.
Well, seems there are now only 2 main SUPL providers: Google & Vodafone. We know it, bad gov guys know it. So what is the difference between them? Also at least Google was built for world wide coverage in mind. So unless someone is willing to create supl server and serve this data https://cddis.nasa.gov/Data_and_Derived_Products/GNSS/broadcast_ephemeris_data.html with this protocols https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assisted_GNSS#SUPL or at least spawn some deanonymizing proxy like this https://github.com/tajuma/supl any change will be just virtual change. But why not change gps.conf directly in the repo then, if gps.conf modification can block sending geo data?
No worries, I asked @No1Alien if he could open the thread since I don't have much time to maintain itNice to have a separate LineageOS 19.1 for XZ1C thread, but it might be nice to credit this ROM to @derf elot more explicitely in the OP, since it seems to be mostly his work.
