Magisk is not compatible with this device but it's not a problem, you got root stuff in the developer sub-menu in settings. This ROM works fine on my N7000....Really good to run 7.1.2 on such an old Device...XD
The only pity is that no Magisk [email protected][email protected]
But Xposed is still able to work...I installed minmin adblock (work fine), Greenify (Don't know why Xposed function can't be on...).
Is there any fix for video recording?Magisk is not compatible with this device but it's not a problem, you got root stuff in the developer sub-menu in settings.
video recording seems to work fine. can you provide further details? Is there any fix for video recording?
Hi mate!Dear RR Team,
Many thanks for the official 7.1.2 Rom. I have flashed it and the full Beans Gapps. I encounter three main problems:
1. For unknown reason, the virtual keyboard does not show up even though there is a cursory on the display for typing. Bluetooth keyboard can connect but virtual keyboard is essential for daily use.
2. My N7000 is the 16gb model. Immediately after flashing the Rom and Gapps, internal storage is almost full already. Is this expected, and did previous versions (such as Lollipop) require less space? If yes, I might downgrade to Lollipop so that I retain more space for my apps and data.
3. Google Play would force-close when I tap on its icon. I do not know if this is due to insufficient free storage.
Any guidance from you all would be most appreciated.
Thanks again,

Wow Lee..u very free one..kipidap! Hehehe.. [emoji41]Hi mate!
1. I didn't have any experience using this rom with Bean Gapps. OpenGapps (pico) is recommended instead. Virtual keyboard (AOSP keyboard) have been working fine for me.
2. Please be noted that the /data partition for n7000 is very small, so re-partitioning is required to avoid insufficient storage. It's quite simple, just follow the guide from bauner's LOS 14.1 thread and you are good to go!
3. Maybe is because of your gapps package, maybe is insufficient storage, it's hard to tell. But normally n7000 users are advised to re-partition their device if they are about to use android 5 and above roms with gapps installed.
If you have a good and large sdcard for storage, then the 10GB /data pit file should suits you perfectlyI'm currently using the 10GB /data configuration and have been running this ROM smoothly without any major issues for 5months.

Not necessary need to flash with stock rom. Any odin flashable will do (such as custom recovery/kernel). Flash with stock ROM is ok but if you hven't downloaded stock ROM I suggest flash with custom kernel as you can save download time.Dear lee.wp14,
Many thanks indeed for your steer. I will try again using OpenGapps pico. As for repartitioning, I suppose what I can do is to ODin the 10GB PIT file and a stock rom, and then flash the RR rom again?

nope. with minimal usage (phone calls, whatsapp), it lasts 5-6 days, using aftermarket 2500mah battery.Do you have power drain??
hmm... can I have a look at your battery stats?I gave terrible battery life on new battery
hmm... how long can it lasts you? Over 3 hours? That's all
Can you state your flashing steps? Why when I flash the ROM the device stays on the Samsung Galaxy Note screen without continuing loading?
No less. Around 1.5 hourshmm... how long can it lasts you? Over 3 hours?
Can you state your flashing steps?
It's quite short... try rros marshmallow and see... battery should last longerNo less. Around 1.5 hours
