Hi, lee
do u face any problems with the latest rom v5.8.5 ?
looks like the downloader is missing
browser are not able to download anything from website
only built-in jelly browser is able to download successful !
i believe is related to file manager which doesn't show sdcard !
anyway thx if there's a fix or maybe will wait for the next version !

Works perfectly for me. Using chrome dev and firefox focus.
sd card operations do works in file manager (the green color one).

For latecomers, here is the latest and also the last update announcement post for RROS-N (n7000): link
I highly recommend you guys to use the final release as blueborne vulnerability is patched in this release. Various enhancement and improvements have been observed after a few days of usage.
Cheers :)

for dudes out there,
you are strongly encouraged to clean flash the latest build 5.8.5 instead of applying it on top of 5.8.4/older (kind of like OTA flash or dirty flash)
there's a huge difference between clean flash and ota flash/dirty flash.
clean flash is like you get an expensive car that comes with turbo fitted originally.
OTA/dirty flash is like you get a nomal car, and replaced with cheap aftermarket turbo engine
at the end, both are also turbo cars, but the original one gets better stability :)
I met a dude today who did dirty flash and report ROM unstable/lag. his reason is he is lasy to reconfigure if he clean flash.
IMO if you are really a random flasher (which have amazingly many many many many identical device entries in Google Account, perhaps only some of you got what I mean xD), I think clean flash and reconfigure your phone is already being like kind of daily routine. Because you already get used to it. You know that clean flash is always the best.

It's up to you whether to clean flash or dirty flash, I just want to say something :
dun complain this build lag ya, you make sure you do clean flash first oh kid xD

Shh… later uncle scold me ngah ?

Okie, I'm sure many if you know xposed for nougat is released hours ago
Tested working fine on RROS 5.8.5 n7000! Break your reins!
You may need to do a few restarts after install to let the system settle down. I wait for 5 minutes before everyboot, and I reboot 4 times after install, then only my n7000 settle down. If you no do so, you will experience massive lags.

And i also like to promote my modded xposed module, NEClient!
You can find it inside xposed installer. It is originally released by bin456789 and I modded it to make it easy for non-china user use.
However, NetEase Music is in chinese ( i knoe), but you can use AllTrans module to translate it, I tested it before, it works fine :D
Oh ya I didn't say what is the function of the module. Well, better if you go find it out hard to say here :silly:

I flashed this ROM over the nightowl Marshmallow rom. Looks like my phone is stuck on the "GT-7000" screen and won;t go ahead. Something about partitions im assuming...

EDIT: Managed to get it installed with a couple of flashes. I think i was performing the wipes after flashing the rom, rather than before flashing ROM

As said in earlier reply, Magisk is not supported / will never supports our N7000. Our N7000 has a special kernel structure, thus is incompatible with magisk's boot patcher.
Root should work out of the box, just enable it in Developer settings.
Final release should have removed Magisk Manager. Are you on the Final release (v5.8.5)?

I have try it (5.8.5), but now i use 5.8.3. In 5.8.5, my n7000 become a lag. I check in kernel adiutor, the processor just run at 800Mhz. I have try many times to changes kernel adiutor's setting, but nothing happen. Do you have sollution for this problem?
