hmm indeed the gps is not working fine. Sorry abt that, I tot my GPS is working fine since my location based weather forecast (OmniJaws) works until now.
I'm just back from holiday and on the way back i stopped by at Gopeng Perak and tried to use Google Maps on my n7000 but ended up following roadsigns. While using Google Maps the phone is getting my location for about every few minutes so navigation didn't work properly. the pointer didn't move at all, but it jumped after few minutes, it simply didn't work at all
I did a simple check just now and found out that only web based location is being used, GPS location is not working at all (it won't get a fix)
I tried modifying the gps.conf files but no luck, still couldn't get any gps fix.
Do you have any progress? Here I attached my current modified gps.conf I found on xdatv.
I'm quite surprised the web based location is so accurate that the accuracy is less than 50m (21m for me). But still android won't get web based location for every seconds so navigation won't work for this case.
EDIT: Just tested GPS fixing on my sis's n7000 (Omni 4.4) and my mom's n7000 (RROS 5.8.5 latest) and both of it gets gps fix within few seconds in my house (yeah, indoor) without any modifications to system ._. will do further troubleshooting and report back
EDIT 2: @ex5dream Tried everything including cleaning GPS antenna contact points, flash to stock 4.0.4, reset AGPS, use custom NTP... etc... All failed. Seems like is hardware failure.

How to install
Its easy first check your baseband version in my case its N7000DDLSC. Then search for PhilZ-cwm6-DDLSC-ODD-4.93.6-signed. Download yours from the tread. Keep it in SD card. Shutdown the phone go to recovery pressing volume up+home keep+power on then select update from sd card or something & flash yours philz recovery. That's it to unlock the phone.
mount /system as rw, then push your apk to /system/app under a directory.
For example, to push test.apk :
create a folder "aname" at /system/app
paste test.apk inside /system/app/aname
starting android 5.0, the apk needs to be inside a folder. Else, android system won't recognize it.
I just did a clean install of 20171018 recently. What recovery are you using? Is it a clean install?
Yes the problem has solved as I update the recovery with the latest.

Well I'm not sure about "magiLook" you said; and for Magisk, it will never supports n7000 due to n7000's special kernel structure.Watch your installed the rom of resurrection remix and you could solve the problem of magiLook, you installed the rom of resurrection remix and you could solve the problem of magisk

Follow the guide at bauner's LOS14.1 for n7000's thread, you should be able to upgrade fine
Or if you want manually (since you r a dev), Basically you just need to install the TWRP IsoRec from bauner (you can find it in its los14.1 for n7000's thread), install a LOS 13 kernel only zip from bauner, and reboot into TWRP and you are good to go!

i tried over 5 clean install with final version and pico gapps. we have working rom but not fast as LOS14 but more customization. the Bad part is mtp stopped working appears many times for example when entering to apps in settings or storage.(in all formats of storage like vfat,exfat,ntfs,etc)and The blue cm file manager doesn't enters to storage. for now i returned to samsung official 4.1.2 because of LOS 12.1 and 13 bootloop bugs when updating or installing some apps. even LOS14 freezed and deleted all data and cache when i was using instagram after sudden boot. so is there any idea to make rr final to solve mtp problem?

The MTP problem as mentioned earlier, is kernel related issue which is found on N7000/I9100 devices. Currently there's no workaround. Rest assured, the MTP is working fine although the error appears. Just no need care about it, just dismiss it.hi and thanks to dear developers

I'm not sure about the performance but I'm pretty sure that RR on n7000 should hv lesser graphic glitches. And yes the blue CM File Manager is not working out of the box. Please download file manager apps from Play Store if needed.
As long as you use it in normal way, the final RR should be very nice on n7000. My mom have been using the RR on her n7000 since last year and working fine till now, without any modifications made to system. Mine also working fine till now, without any tweaks/system modifications applied.
