Hi can anyone please help me in two issues (for me)
1. I'm not able to unlock device by touching fingerprint sensor as it was working in stock Motorola ROM, actually I didn't find the option to enable in RR rom.

2. How can I put the Jio sim to OFF when I want to use only one sim ?

Thanks in advance

Okay, so I'm using the latest version of the ROM with no custom kernel. And I'm facing a small problem, which might be because I'm doing something wrong. I apologise in advance if this is the wrong place to post, but I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find a solution.

Issue - I'm trying to install V4A, which needs me to rename this file: /vendor/etc/audio_effects.conf to /vendor/etc/audio_effects.conf.bak, but it appears to be impossible to rename this file. Apparently the filesystem is read-only.
Tried different file managers, no luck. Checked root permissions log, and these file managers are being granted root permissions.
Tried using the inbuilt terminal app next, that didn't work either. Even that has root permissions but it says the filesystem is RO.
chmod fails on terminal for the same reason - read only filesystem.
Thought about renaming through TWRP recovery (the latest version by shreps) and guess what, the "etc" folder doesn't even show up in the vendor dir!
Googled the issue and found some tips, none of which worked. (Will be glad to provide further info if required.)

Once again, my apologies if this has been solved. I just seem to be unable to fix this problem, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Did you mount system in TWRP before renaming?
Also if all you need is V4A you can use magisk V4A instead.

1. You mean fingerprint isn't working?
2. This feature isn't present in custom ROMs.

Fingerprint is working correctly but it does not lock the device as it do in Moto stock ROM, like when I touch the fingerprint button on unlocked phone it locks the phone as well on stock ROM.

and for switching off one sim for now, I need to pull out the sim from slot... is it ?

On 31/01 build and its predecessors, i added these lines

persist.camera.gyro.android=4
persist.camera.tof.direct=1
persist.camera.tnr.preview=1
persist.camera.tnr.video=1

and google camera v2 , oneplus 3 camera worked flawlessly.
But on the 19/02 build either i add above 4 lines or not google camera v2 and oneplus 3 camera dont work properly. Some images are green, while rapidly pressing the camera shutter(not burst shots) or normal usage also. Here's the log? and the green image

Moto G4 Plus XT1643
Dual boot - Primary -RR 31/01 and Data Slot - RR 19/02
TWRP 3.0.3n2
Gapps 16/02
No mods in the 19/02 build except adding n removing those 4 lines

Hello @Silesh.Nair,

I have been trying to figure out why Time Based rules for do not disturb do not trigger correctly. The issue persists after a clean flash. When a time based rule is setup (ex 1pm-3pm) it will not set off dnd mode or end it unless I go into the rules settings and manually toggle the "alarm can end the rule early" option. Then it will trigger, but not work again next time. Its like the service that should be changing it automatically is not running or getting errors. Here is the information on my Moto G4+ xt1644, and I have also attached a logcat from around 6:00am when the DND should have ended automatically but did not. Thank you for your awesome work!

What is your--
Radio (baseband): Newest Nougat
ROM version: 2/19
Gapps version: OpenGapps Stock 2/19

Did you--
wipe: Yes
restore with titanium backup: No
reboot after having the issue: Yes

Are you using--
a task killer: No
a non-stock kernel: No
RRSettings/Performance settings (other than stock): No
Dual SIM: No
other modifications: I removed FM Radio and Recorder from system.

    RR Add-ons...

    As of build 3/22 you no longer need the fingerprint homebutton enabler zips. Both features are included in the build.

    Go to > Settings > Moto Actions and choose your options ;)

    ======================================

    Spectrum Support
    As of build 8/24 I have included Spectrum Support (root is required). More info can be found here.

    Spectrum is a simple kernel profile manager. I have included 3 built-in profiles (Stock, Lightning Blade v1.5, and Glassfish v1.2) more coming soon! You can easily change between the 3 profiles by using the Spectrum app. If you choose not to use the app, that's fine as it won't effect anything if you don't. The choice is yours. This is why I don't include it built into the ROM, but instead as an extra option if you choose to utilize it.

    If you would like to use it, attached at the bottom of this post is a flashable zip. The zip includes the Spectrum v2.0 app and a .spectrum_descriptions file (for correct/custom descriptions of each profile and what they do). All you have to do is flash the zip and grant root permissions, easy as that.

    Update 3/22

    New build - RR-N-v5.8.5-20180322

    md5sum: 0e0b101529232f69321050d3a7b8dbc6

    ++ Changes ++
    • Mostly March Security Patch updates
    • Fully rebased Resurrected Kernel (nougat edition)
    • CAF/AOSP upstream kernel updates
    • Added summary to Moto Actions (for real this time)
    • Updated Moto Actions to include both Fingerprint homebutton and sleep/power button features
    • LineageOS updates as of 3/22/2018

    As of this build, you will no longer need the fingerprint homebutton enabler zips as both features are now included. You have a choice of using either option (you can't use both at the same time for obvious reasons) as well the fingerprint wake-up option. Choosing the sleep features makes the fingerprint sensor act as the power button. A single press (now with vibration!) will lock the device. A long press will bring up the power menu (also with vibration!). Truthfully, I find it to be a lot more functional than previously setup.

    I ran the changelog from the previous build to this build, meaning it includes ALL changes from then till now. This update includes mostly security patch updates from LineageOS. I forked all of RR's nougat repo's and updated the ones that needed updating accordingly. Everything else (besides my device, kernel, and vendor sources) gets updated automatically each source sync. You can see all the changes to RR's sources at ResurrectedRemix GitHub. I did it this way so it's easier to keep track of. I have not changed RR's source in any other way or added/removed any features except what's in my device and kernel source.

    Anyway, enjoy the new update!

    Almost finished with a new update for you guys. Got something special for you coming with this new update. Let's just say you will no longer need to flash the FP-HOME-Enabler zip anymore. Both fingerprint homebutton and sleep/power button features will be included in Moto Actions...finally :)

    Some teasers...

    Can we taste Oreo from new year ???? Dev
    Nougat has been the best daily driver so far ......
    Believe me, I'd love to post an RR Oreo based build, but I can't as the sources aren't public yet. From what I understand, RR waited until 8.1's release being that 8.0 was short lived anyway.

    Trust me, as soon as RR releases Oreo sources, I will be on top of that **** and you guys will have an Oreo based RR build [emoji41]

    EDIT: As well as a 64bit version too!

    Speaking of 64bit, most of the work being done with 64bit (device, kernel, and vendor source) is all based off of the 8.0 and 8.1 source. I'm working at trying to backport the functionality but my skills only go so far, so I can't make any promises (yet) on a 64bit version of RR Nougat
