Install magisk modules busybox and MagiskHide_Props_Config-v5.1.0-v71. than use Termux to set fingerprint. Type command: su, than command: props. Than 1 and f. Choose your device fingerprint and set it.

unlock bootloader after 168hrs will wait for this. or is there a way to bypass?

- Back up your stuff
- Unlock bootloader
- Install Orange Fox
- Boot directly into recovery in the first boot, don't let miui boot because it will revert the recovery to stock
- FORMAT data, and wipe everything else (i don't usually wipe vendor)
- Flash ROM
- Flash custom kernel (optional)
- Flash GAPPS (Optional)
- Flash Magisk (optional)
- Restart to system
EDIT: You can make a backup of your MIUI before wiping things.

Love this rom. Currently at build 20191006 as recommended by @Rangdrol. And paired it with Genom kernel. Smooth and no issues for now. Im sticking with pie. As i'm afraid Q roms are not stable for daily use.

hey, i've installed the 20200107 version on my RedmiNote7 and everything seemed to be working fine..until after 1 day of use, i recieved a call and couldn't hear anything or be heard. and now that's always the case with phone or Signal calls (i can hear the other side if i turn on loud speak)
i did a few calls before this and mic and speaker were working
any idea on why this is happening?

Better you flash one of the last lineage16 roms. not this 20200207 android 10 version. The rom 20191006 is much better!

i'm using the 20200107 version of this LOS16 rom by letsmakecakes, otherwise why would i be posting here?
i don't need to use Q right now, and the rom is perfect otherwise but for this bug, which i don't even know what caused it

How to Update Using OTA :
1. Check Updates Section of LineageOS
2.Download using updater and click install
3.It will take you to TWRP and automatically Flash it and reboot to System
4.Since GAPPS start crashing and ROOT support will be erased so..you need to do the next step.
3. flash gapps again && Magisk (if you used to use it) booting into TWRP

Some personal thoughts :
I want to add something something as this is probably the final LineageOS 16.0 build for lavender.
Apparently , there were so many issues regarding GPS and Proximity.
First of all ,let me talk about GPS . It simply worked for some people and didn't for some people in all the previous builds.
The main reason behind this is that we all have different variants and we are from different parts of the world.
The GPS.config that was provided earlier on was changed repeatedly inbetween china and CAF configs.
In this build , I have added it from GLOBAL edition so that it is compatible for most of us.The Second issue is proximity.
This is one issue which occurs if you don't unlock your screen in two seconds of restarting device... which is present for some people and not for many people.
Lastly , I would appreciate everyone who has supported for my works all these months
and always tried to cheer me up !
There has been a question on me by several devs around XDA and on telegram that I didn't public my source. Certainly , there are people who have really offended me on public regarding this fact while
i never said i won't public the source. This is really disheartening for me and often times i wanted to quit developing for this device due to these facts.
But due to support of some awesome people , i was forced to continue .. So , as the time has come , I'm finally linking my device tree source in my XDA thread .
I don't know how much it helps people to spread bad rumours about me .. but this shall certainly help a lot of young minds to push the device at its limit.
