You try [KERNEL][EAS][LAVENDER][9.0] || Clarity Kernel || HANA-CI . This kernel rocks, my favourite kernel. Stable and fast.
I am working with 20200107 Lineage no GAPP.
Some of you can support me with TTS which is crashing when I'm trying to configure it when getting in options?
Note: I try and install different TTS including Google's (with Aurora), but no chance.

I am using Amulyax lineage 16 with older security paches that this build. I would like to use this one, but i really miss offline charging + offline charging animation.
It would be owsome if letsmakecakes could add this feature. He could just copy it from Amulyax build

I tried to install opengapps with the right version, pico, and it says that my rom is version 10 and opengapps is for version 9.
And I installed version 10/07 of this lineage os custom rom, that I could make work on my xiaomi redmi note 7,

The last 2 roms here are not so stable. Better you use the rom from 25.02.2020 from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-7/development/20-roms-rn7-lavender-t4038279
He use the tree from AmulyaX.
Kernel I use Morfuz 3.6 EAS, fast and very battery friendly.
Don't use opengapps, use the last BiTGApps.

I tried that but fingerprint didn't work.
I'm using aicp from the same post. It's very good, very similar to lineage but with some more tweaks. Plus it has signature spoofing, so I can use microg safely.
The op is doing a great job, he keep updating all those ROMs.
Unfortunately i can't get used to Q. No privacy guard and no firewall integrated in the app data usage property tab.
No way to stop an app to start automatically from power up.
All this is natively integrated in lineage 16 based roms

You try. I change from TWRP to Orangefox, because sometimes issues with TWRP. Interface little different, read the Orangfox treat.

With AICP its working? Maybe I try this rom thankx.
Normally I am very happy with lineage 16, don't need Q. I don't understand this hype for Q. Not every new system is better, than the old one. Old is gold?
AICP is very nice. Everything from lineage is there. Fingerprint is working well. I don't know about CTS profile, but if it doesn't work, you can use a Magisk Hide Props Config.

Bro ,use bitgapps .
Before install gapps you should do clean flash : wipe cache ,dalvic ,system ,vendor then flash rom ,flash gapps
Isn't it necessary to provide device tree? I always thought XDA want you to do it.

Instructions :
- You need a PC with ADB & Fastboot available

Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log

How to Update Using OTA :
1. Check Updates Section of LineageOS
2.Download using updater and click install
3.It will take you to TWRP and automatically Flash it and reboot to System
4.Since GAPPS start crashing and ROOT support will be erased so..you need to do the next step.
3. flash gapps again && Magisk (if you used to use it) booting into TWRP
4.Tada! Youre Updated!

Some personal thoughts :
I want to add something something as this is probably the final LineageOS 16.0 build for lavender.
Apparently , there were so many issues regarding GPS and Proximity.
First of all ,let me talk about GPS . It simply worked for some people and didn't for some people in all the previous builds.
The main reason behind this is that we all have different variants and we are from different parts of the world.
The GPS.config that was provided earlier on was changed repeatedly inbetween china and CAF configs.
In this build , I have added it from GLOBAL edition so that it is compatible for most of us.The Second issue is proximity.
This is one issue which occurs if you don't unlock your screen in two seconds of restarting device... which is present for some people and not for many people.
Lastly , I would appreciate everyone who has supported for my works all these months and always tried to cheer me up !
There has been a question on me by several devs around XDA and on telegram that I didn't public my source. Certainly , there are people who have really offended me on public regarding this fact while
i never said i won't public the source. This is really disheartening for me and often times i wanted to quit developing for this device due to these facts.
But due to support of some awesome people , i was forced to continue .. So , as the time has come , I'm finally linking my device tree source in my XDA thread .
I don't know how much it helps people to spread bad rumours about me .. but this shall certainly help a lot of young minds to push the device at its limit.
I'm taking a break from all sorts of development due to several personal reasons. I wish you all , best of luck until then
