Is it active in Xposed? you have to activate and install Xposed before mods work

obviously I'm a noob lol

Switching to this rom from Knoxraid to try out since Klaz is recommending it.

Since I am coming from KK, the whole internal sd got wiped! ouch. I completely forgot about that. Dang! There goes all my Tibu Backup and all my apps. Time to start all over again manually.

Think of this as a good thing...now you'll run the rom at its fastest cleanest speed...vs tainting it by running conflicting apks thru titanium...hope you like the rom bro...welcome

That's a lesson for you. So you don't keep your photos and important stuff on your internal SD. I've learned that the same way. LOL

First go into settings about phone and activate Dev options
Go into dev options and uncheck force gpu rendering then shut off dev options

Next, l always recommend setcpu...gives you control over speed and battery life

Def use greenify but not the Xposed system side
Greenify everything except messages apps or things you want notifications

Lastly don't use airplane mode, just use regular mode and shut off wifi when you leave you house and you should have good battery life to go with the speed. Enjoy

Oh and I immediately disable all google apps but the play store personally and a few others like briefing, group play, samsung push service and link, yahoo whatever the hell those yahoo apks are lol

Use Xposed and wanam for themes...consider yourself optimized lol

Just boot into SS
Select Boot Options
Select ROM Slot 1 (or 2,3,4)
Select Create Slot
Select Wipe, accept the default wipe option
Install FireNote
Boot'er up and walk away from it for 10min. Reboot and set it up
Profit.

After a couple of days, once you got it set the way you want, go into SS and make a backup

Then if you want, you can restore the backup to the stock slot.

Make a backup of stock first!

My personal setup:

Right off the bat I turn off:
All Google Apps But Play Store
Group Play
Samsung Push Service

I also Greenify any apps I download that run in the background

This is just my personal way I've found to extend battery life even further and improve the experience...obviously your mileage will vary depending on what apps you use and your favorite setups.

Application Manager
Click on each app and click disable

Also open root app delete and under system settings or system apks (top left box), ddisable att updater

Please make sure NOT TO REBOOT your phone when your stock slot is empty (after you wipe it preparing to restore the back up of firenote to it). It's so much trouble. An expert in breaking sh***t right here. LOL
