No this is a jelly bean ROM, you can't flash 4.3 when you are on 4.4. FireKat is supposed to be as good.

firenote v23 is the latest rom and heard it was great..
Make sure your still on MJ5..flash with Safestrap. If you did offical update to kitkat NC2 you cant go back to Jellybean. If you did the leaked version of Kitkat then you can go back its a long process but easy to do just follow directions to the letter.

My friend and I tried following these very instructions today same exact model of phone the SM-N900A and the SafeStrap installs and states it was successful however when it reboots the screen is blank forever (we waited about 45 minutes max) until we booted back to SafeStrap (v3.75) and into Stock ROM. Are we doing something stupid?

Sorry strike above..I have so many devices got mixed up. You need 3.71 Safestrap this is a Jellybean rom MJ5. Install Busybox after you root then install Safestrap. Once you run Busybox install safestrap..open safestrap once you try to boot into safestrap if get a popup that says reboot...click power button as normal click restart you will get a screen that says recovery or reboot. Dnt click reboot if you have wiped system as there is nothing there...click recovery to get into safestrap. Only install stock slot. You should do a backup of stock rom before installing rom to stock slot
