Same issue with Settings/Display crashing after a clean install. Hope we'll get answer from developper soon

I found the bug in Settings/Display will be fixed with next release (I've tried to add infinite display timeout and forgot to remove it after failed testing), I'll also include USB drivers and merge with latest changes in RR ROM maybe it will help with cranking. I should be able to fix USB disk default permission as well.
Unfortunately, my table is currently installed into my car dashboard so most likely there will be no new build for next 2 weeks.

Battery drain

Thanks for this room, it checks a lot of boxes for me. However, the battery drain is crazy... Im using an other cable and seeing fast charge but when there is no power, it appears that there are Gremlins in the background. Tested again with fresh install and no added apps. Anyone else having issues?

Going to try Greenify shortly. But need help in the meantime. Thx!

2 cents question.....Timur alwaus said that D2TW was incompatible deep sleep (DT2W prevent the device from deepsleep). How did you manage to add it ?

i feel like such a noob. i have flashed many rom before, but i cant get the deb rom to work.

using twrp 3.1.1
wiped everything cache, data, system, internal storage, etc
installed deb rom
installed gapps
reboot

it just gets stuck on the Google boot screen with the unlock.

manually powered off and power on

manually reboot in bootloader

just gets stuck in Google boot screen

any help would be appreciated!

I also bought Timur's kernel and i love having that functionality in a (newer) custom rom. Had issues trying to get Poweramp to see my flash drive. Went ahead and removed Magisk and use an old supersu that worked with timur's kernel. Flashed that and it's working fine. I do miss the media buttons at the bottom but no biggie. They were designed for MM and can probably be ported to Nougat.

Can someone explain, how add usb sound.
I create "userinit.sh" in /data/local/ add this lines, but nothing happening.
I try use this command in terminal, sound from tablet disappeared, but sound from usb dac didnt work.

It is possible that deb build is not working as I don't have deb device to test I'll take a look on weekend to see we this build is different.

Does it work with deb? I get only the Google Logo on start.

Timur's on A6 seems to be a mess. I'd love to go back to LL but don't have my files anymore.

Not a mess like you said. Just stereo/mono issue with some DACs. And if you're not happy, why you not compiling your own ROM ? Timur sources are available, so why not giving it a try ?

ElementalX does exist with Timur's features, i was the one who gave access to Timu'rs sources more than 1 year ago (april 2016)..when Timur's still didnt wanted to share his work with others (only with those who paid)

You can give it a try with SlimLP 5.1 and ElementalX hack by solidsnake (i must have those files on my GDrive)

I'm not blaming Timur's. The, my, N7 flo with LL was almost perfect. Deb with MM had GPS drift, loses the 4G sporadically, loses the 4G if I use apps to reboot (I have to use the hard button), The mono bug was the only thing I was prepared for.
