except this doesn't reliably detect the shutdown/powerloss event, so a step down transformer is needed <- already have one

If I do go down this path, I will try to come up with a semi reversible solution that would still let me connect to a computer for adb/fastboot if a need arises. Just remembered I happend to have an extra grouper with a dead screen somewhere in my closet...

Not sure if this is the proper place to ask, but here goes nothing anyway: is the battery charging circuit (the one that needs to be separated from the battery module) interchangeable/compatible between 1st and 2nd gens? Asking because I have a pare grouper battery I am hoping to recycle on my flo...

Trying this ROM and looks promising. Not sure if Bluetooth streaming isn't slightly worse than MM though (audio quality).
However, I have encountered one strange thing. In PEM when trying to see and adjust Kill App, it reverts to main PEM screen with a toast "no app list". Is it a bug or am I missing something.
I uninstalled magisk and installed supersu, as some programs requesting root were not communicating with magisk. Although this bug was also represented with magisk installed.

yeah I've done some cursory searching and that's what I think they are telling me, just wanted to make sure I am on the right track.

I've done some googling last night on the battery circuit board bit and came up empty. Doubt anyone would ever have a need/desire to mate grouper's battery to flo's motherboard, I figure. But concenptually thinking, I wonder if the mobo would care if the charging voltage is about the same. I am a wee bit scared to experiment on this. Surely I could just hack up the flo's battery, but wanted to have some backup plan in case the mod doesn't go well...

Someone was offering a used 32g flo with some bezel damage for $47ish locally, decided to pick it up for gps nav duty. Maybe I should use that one as a guinea pig

Now that you mention it, I had those too. I just dismissed it thinking I could just use RR's wakelock supression page. As for magisk, maybe that's the reason why I wasn't able to grant root permission to AHSK. Not like I need hide root on the car tablet, I will give superSU a try and see how it goes.

For me, I will revert to MM. Why:
1. Suddenly had "Bluetooth Share has stopped"
2. PEM app kill list empty.
3. Battery drain - 5% in just one hour with "suspended" state
4. Hit and miss with suspending - sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.
5. After wake up, still in Airplane mode with Btooth and WiFi off..

Reverting to MM

I'm reverting to MM, as a few hiccups:
1. Suspending is a hit and miss - sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.
2. No kill app list in PEM
3. Got "Bluetooth Share" stopped - once though.
4. RTL-SDR Driver stopped - once though
5. Battery drain
6. WiFi and Bluetooth usually do not activate back once the tablet is unsuspended.

Sad, as this looked very promising (and in fact faster than MM)

hmm... that makes us three with the battery drain issue, except in my case I had it pretty bad with the MM version also - the very reason I decied to upgrade to this one. how is everyone else doing with that?
I only use BT for occasional tethering to install or update apps, but the last time I used it I left it on by accident and noticed it was still enabled when it awoke from suspend. Maybe another hit or miss thing?

so i got my second flo, installed just the bare minimum number of apps on it. disabled all rtc alarms and wakelocks, only to lose 6%/hour. i noticed there were quite a few external power reconnect counters despite having the cable completely removed.

i will go back to mm usbrom to see how that comapares.

I am also reverting to Timur MM, because:

• PEM not working as good as timurs, battery draining more. On MM the battery drained super slow compared to this. I had no sync and all not used programs disabled.
• When using GPS+Music in car the device reboots more frequently. Like about I can take 2 hour drive and it reboots once on it. When using MM it rebooted or froze once per 24 hour driving. (It was more stable)
• Wifi finds connection faster, when I switch on hotspot from phone MM version found took about max 30 sec to find wifi. On this version I had to go to wifi settings, then it started to scan and connect

tested exactly this on latest lineageos but it won't work the crackling won't go away any other ideas? tested with several external dacs/soundcards. really annoying Problem on the nx7 2013 all other devices working fine so far.

Concerning audio crackling over USB DACs: The cause is qualcomms hard CPU throttling. When you disable mpdecision with a kernel tool (ex. Kernel Auditor), the crackling will go away and one get perfect sound quality.
May be elektro255 can add it by default in next releases.

Is anyone else having a problem connecting to a computer? I've tried 2 computers, both with windows 10 and I get errors where the computer can't detect the device with an error coffee 43 for device identifier. I've tried 2 other Samsung phones that work, I've tried uninstalling and tried to apply the Google drivers with no luck.

Joycon steering wheel problem

Guys, I'm trying to make joycon steering wheel working but I can't , any one can help with it, I would appreciate that.

I need your help figuring out what's wrong with joycon exc steering control.

I mean I assigned the button and I checked it and its working fine on windows and even on my galaxy s8. But when I try to plug it on my nexus 7, it can read it as an external keyboard but it doesn't work.

I don't know what to do ,I'm guess there is no driver in my nexus because it worked fine on my other android device.

You can't on Resurrection Remix unfortunately.

However i do have a zip of a navbar for MM with media integration like ????? i just have to find it and link it here (credits go to The Unknown Dev. I found it a long time ago here on xda can't remember who is dev) As i said its for MM 6.0 so its useless for this rom but maybe some nice dev will pick up development on this rom and somehow integrate it into it

Where'd the deb build go?
I followed the link for deb, and got to attempting to sideload it before I learned that I'd downloaded the file for flo. All references to an equivalent deb build seem to be dead links.
I assume this project is over anyway, but I'd love to be proven wrong.
