You only need to have half enabled for double tap 2 wake in KA for it to work correctly.

Yes this rom does have longpress to kill an app follow my instrustions carefully you need to open the settings app on your tablet

Go to extensions section in settings and click on navigation

Then click on navigation bar and then find navigation mode and click on that and then change the mode to smartbar instead of stock

Then click on smartbar settings here you will be able to provide any action you want to your nav bar buttons

Click on start edit mode and then longress the back button and it should popup a dialog. Here you can select a new button to add to the navbar or you can change the action for either double tap or longpress for the back button. You can also change the icon if you want to. This works for all the buttons on the navbar.

If you want the longress back button to kill an app to work you need to click on start edit mode and then long press on the back button once again. Click on actions then select long press and then select (select custom action) and then choose force close app.


Boom! Now you should have longpress to kill working it should kill the app and tell you that the app has been killed

Also even if you were able to use gravitybox for pie and if it was a option at all you still wouldnt be able to use it because its only supposed to work on pure unmodified aosp roms that have no customization built into the rom and it would most probably cause issues and you will have an unable system. I hope i helped you out

I don't see any settings to choose smartbar where you specified. In previous versions I was able to choose it & add custom nav buttons like menu & a whole list of other functions. Now it's just got the typical 3 button layout with no way to customize long press or double tap.?

I'm running the latest AEX7.1 v0412 (dirty flash) all is smooth.
One strange thing happen after connecting USB data cable to win10 (v1909 with latest update). All things are displaying on reversed side (from home screen to apps) including go Google slide from left is now from right (not able to take screen capture).
Happen after I was not able to select transfer file when USB data cable connected, I restart the PC with Flo still connected. Transfer file is working afterward and the reversed thing appear.
In TWRP, deleted dalvik cache but no luck. So I restored the backup.
Just curious if anyone ever seen encounter this strange thing.

Thank you for always providing an exciting build.
When I install deb7.1, some SIMs can't connect to mobile network automatically.
Where can I find the settings for the APN section?
Since I can't find it in the usual items, I'm having trouble setting the APN manually.
Please give me advice.

Since the last ROM there are no (Soft)-Reboots anymore. So that I don't need to enter the SIM-PIN before use.

Yes .. EX kernel should run on ALL Android 10 ROM for flo and deb devices .. and it should still work on ALL Android 9.0 ROM too.

New build works great. I'm happy to report that a bug I had in the March build that didn't save my paired bluetooth devices after reboot is gone. I no longer have to repair after a reboot. Keep up the great works!

For current builds they have made plenty of "theming" changes .. maybe some bug were introduced.

As my time Android time is very limited I do not change any device/kernel related code for flo/deb devices.
For the moment all the changes are done by AEX team only.

As it looks like I will not get more Android time in the future .. even less.

Old boot.img will make problems on Android 10 due to change ramdisk layout.
For testing you can extract kernel binary and flash via AnyKernel.

Hope not too dumb a question. I have been running Android 9 on my Flo for a while, AospExtended v6.6. So I know I must have repartitioned it to install that ROM. Do I need to repartition again, or do I simply flash the new ROM (AospExtended 7.1))? Thanks in advance!
