Dt2w isn't working for me on 9.1. it's enabledin the display settings. Anything else I should be doing?

I'm having the same issue on 9.1....dt2w is enabled but it's not working. Thx
This display setting is standard AOSP .. will be hidden on one of the next releases .. fine tuning.

If you see exactly it's saying "double tap to check" .. should be for messages to check not for especially to wake.
Coming from Pixel devices.

In our "old" 3.4 kernel I have used dt2w features from elementalx kernel.
In "my" kernel they are disabled by default, to save battery life.
Using kernel auditor tool you can enable again.

Hope this helps ..

This is my private GitHub .. the changes are not supposed for lineage Gerrit .. etc.
I just used them for AOSP tree .. to get Oreo running.

Like the change you mentioned at GitHub .. just a few minutes ago. Shim libs for Deb rild.
Taken from here and not from Luca .. maybe the inital change was coming from Luca.. I just don't know.
https://github.com/HighwayStar/andr...mmit/993a99945b14fc45487071ef9beb17ee70814a81
Actually found by mistake because I got a mido device to play with.
The related change in platform/bionic was directly cherry-picked with all authors from linage-15.0 branch.

If I have some time left, I will change some authors .. to make it correct.

Cheers

There's not such a thing as "My Private Github , I dont need to keep Authorship", Actually Authorship is about respect and moral. If you want people to respect you, one must start by respecting other people's work and giving each commit (or at least trying) the rightful owner. Moral, by always doing the right thing, tomorrow you will have the moral to ask someone to fix a commit that rightfully belongs to you. I'm pretty sure your users will respect and like better a honest developer than a kanger.

Now, let me clarify this, I dont make, gain, or give a flying monkey if you do or dont do the right thing, this was just me pointing out something for your own good so tomorrow you wont be called Kanger and your users can enjoy your ROM.

Cheers !!

Thanks .. fully understood.
I do love open sources and I do respect the work done for it.

Yes, the authorship should be correct either, if applicable.

I will improve ;)

Anyone else's adaptive brightness not working? When it's off, brightness slider works properly. when it's on, the slider does nothing.

Tried flashing 8.0 nano gapps. All flashing and things went well... Got stuck at Google play services stopped working. Tried all possible ways to fix it.. But doesn't seem to work. Really need some help there

Edit 1: Fixed it. Must be a problem with the gapps I downloaded. Downloaded again and it fixed the problem. Thank you ?
