It's actually just one single new change .. (ipv4: Pass struct flowi4 directly to rt_fill_info)
https://github.com/followmsi/flo_elementalx/commit/85f99f5a0f502fe059a0b4f14517d3524137be01

But yes - here is the same change for the EX kernel too ..

ElementalX-N7-7.02-TEN-20200609.zip (inside KERNEL subfolder)

Sources:
https://github.com/followmsi/flo_elementalx/tree/ElementalX-7.02-TEN

It seems newer Magisk versions do not like the kernel installer and you may loose root access.
To keep root access - just re-install Magisk.zip in TWRP - right after kernel installation.

Enjoy :p
Hello @followmsi, do you still have the ElementalX flo for Android 10 build?

(I clicked on the link but it asks me to log in, so I assume that it is already unavailable and needs reupload.)

I tried LineageOS 18.1 but it has issues connecting to WPA2-Enterprise networks, so I have to use 17.1.

On nexus 7 2013 LTE, running rom lineageos20-deb
( - lineage-20.0-20230507-UNOFFICIAL-deb
- system partitionned to 1480MB with lanchon-repit-20210221-system=max-cache=16M+wipe-deb
- MindTheGapps-13.0.0-arm-20230408_162252 installed )

All the hardware is working fine (camera, BT, Wifi, screen rotation, gps, light sensor, battery management, usb : MTP, mouse or srorage hosted ) but tablet is freezing randomly and restarting from time to time while using touch screen...

( I tried kernel : flo-deb-followmsi-kernel-thirteen-20230401-AK3 as well but same problems freeze and reboot randomly )

I was able to surf (with Brave or Chrome) on big catalog website (aliexpress, etc.) without any problem (and quite an invisible lag not bad regarging the 2Gb ram , i guess..) . By the way Android 13 is terrific ( i confess i jumped from v4 to 7 then 13 ... but ... 13 has a kind of magic, no ?)

ps: Guess, i'm going to downgrade to Nougat (enough to use this tablet as an epub reader..) yet I would really appreciate your feedback on a stable ROM for this tablet (LTE/deb), crossing fingers to taste again one of your excellent home-made brew lineageos20 rom .

Last but not least, thanks to everyone, you guys rock !!

Just experimented with a clean flash using NikGapps Android Go arm test build, and things seem a lot faster again, better than regular MTG arm, with no SystemUI crashes.

Then I started adding things back and eventually they did trigger again, but only after I added several widgets to my homescreens. So I think the widgets refreshing their data can be a big cause of the issues here, so anyone seeing problems: start by removing widgets.

The other thing I've noticed is that starting with Lineage 19 or 20 any time there's a hang the Wait/Force close dialog doesn't behave correctly anymore... Wait seems to do nothing except delay the dialog showing again, where it used to not show again if the app started responding. Hopefully that can be looked into, since it's extremely obnoxious on an older device.

I have continously issues with Play Services after installation and if I try to install MindTheGapps it gives me Error 1. I can flash LiteGapps but it doesn't fix my Play Services issues. I can't open Play Books because I don't have Play Service, but if I try to install GPS from an apk it shows me a message that I already have GPS.

You need to use the TWRP from the OP, or my flo2flox mod on the official TWRP (even though this isn't flox), then you'll be able to install MTG. Note you need to install GApps initially before ever booting ROM, so you'll likely have to wipe data when you try again.

I'd recommend trying the new NikGapps Android Go arm if you're interested in something really lightweight: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/android-13-gapps-nikgapps-arm64.3915866/page-80#post-88655295

This was my experience as well. Getting rid of widgets helped. Also, the main app that was causing me issues was the Google app (swipe right for newsfeed), once I got rid of that everything got much faster and much more stable. That may be another app to try if things are running slow. This build runs great on my 7, the best I have had

Ah! And Android Go GApps' Google Go doesn't provide a Google Feed pane to the launcher, so that makes sense!

It seems updating OP TWRP to 3.7 solved the problem

Widget resize scaling finally works!! 🥳🎉

Now we just need to figure out why the Force Close/Wait dialog doesn't work correctly, and why having more than 1-2 widgets completely tanks the Launcher/System UI... 🤔😁

Does anyone have a lightweight Gapps for 19.1? I can't find one any where. All of them are either too big or ARM64.

For 19.1 (Android 12L) I still use my 20220705 test_mod builds. 🙃
gDrive - Link

Pico would be the minimal install package.
You could try using a Config file for more customization.

How to setup and use a config file if you are interested.
Advanced Features and Options
OpenGApps - [GitHub] [ Wiki ] - Link

MindTheGapps.
Android File Host - Link
Note: 19.1 is Android 12L. MTG names it 12.1.0

---

If those do not work, you will have to look at how you (re)partitioned your device.

Cheers. :cowboy:

Do you actually need Gapps? (The google services was slowing down my N7 a huge amount.)
I have been very very happy with MicroG, and using the Aurora Store and F-droid.
I installed microG as a Magisk Module "microG Installer Revived".
Just my opinion......

microG would be a good lightweight option; the Android Go arm NikGapps I've been testing have been even more solid/fast since the latest flo build as well.
