[ROM] fRomFuture - Stock Rom L29 (B179)

Hi all,

i'm a bit confused. I have a single SIM P10 from Hungarian Vodafone. Opened bootloader, TWRP recovery. Can i flash this if i want a stock Android ROM? Or should i make anything before the flashing?

Will any data be lost if I unroot by flashing "uninstall magisk?

Got still problem with banking app. The only reason I needed root for was YouTube background play, but this doesn't work too... Am a little bit confused...

You shouldn't lose any data at all. As long as you don't wipe data from the TWRP menu or preform and factory reset or format then all of your things should be left there. Done it many times try different stuffs.

Ok so for the peeps that want to add more clone apps! Here it goes :
First you need to download two apps : es file Explorer or something similar and app inspector.
Second: go to es Explorer, choose Device/system/emui/oversea/xml.
Third: you will see a file named hw_clone_apps_list.xml, open that file and you will edit this file
Forth: <package name="com.whatsapp"/> that's the line you need to add, where it says com.whatsapp you need to put the name of the app you want to clone.
For example if it Instagram:<package name="com.instagram.android"/>.
Save an exit and then reboot and enjoy.
Now the way to figure out the package name of you app is to open app inspector and look for you so there you will see information about the app look where it says package name. And use that for adding the clone app.

I have p 10 with b171 it works very well. And did you turn on it in settings?
By the way, who knows how to disable huawei desktop? Coz I'm using Microsoft desktop

What do you mean turn it off? Ypu can go to settings, apps, open settings in apps and go to default apps there choose your launcher of choice.

Not really since you need to edit the file which is a system file.

if you are using B164 or early ROM, you may look this :

and in B171 or later, that way doesn't work
you must root and follow @lil_kujo 's way to clone app

I don't see any reason why you couldn't. Just be sure to follow all the instructions in the first post.

I unlocked my phone and flashing TWRP is my next step. If I want to flash your ROM, is there something good to know, before? Or, just like on Samsung's, dirty flash over current system?
My phone rewrites my backed up data from SD and then I could flash recovery and ROM. I am on 171, already. This could make it bit easier, or?
