I've tried this and its not to accurate, is there no way of doing it like the latest version of Android where you get the markers either side of the text and you can move them about to encompass what you want to copy?

Thanks

Oh well.

With one hand he giveth with the other he taketh, and I do have a working bluetooth controller with PSX4Droid using this ROM so I guess I'll have to live with it.

Yes but after a lot of messing about with different ROMs I worked out that psx4droid isn't compatable with Gingerbread. That coupled with the Wii Controller connection app not functioning with HTC Sense limited my ROM choices significantly.

I do it by using the joypad, menu>more>select text. them guide pointer with joy pad to where you want to start selecting text, press joypad and them move to where you want text selection to stop and press the joypad again to copy the selected text. Works well for me.

Hi

What about battery life on this ROM?
I would like to show if it could be my daily rom, as i'm little bit reticent to use gingerbread roms..
Is it stable, bugfree?

Does the cpu automatically goes 245mhz when screen of, and back to 950 or something like that when in use?
If not, what should i do except use setcpu ? :)

thx for answer!

Please, could someone provide me a recent (2.2.6 at least) version of Market, this one dont upload itself by 3G / wifi connection as i expected, and i tried a 2.2.6 Apk found on this forum, it end in a force close..

I think AOSP needs something special...?

Thx!!!!!

It should upgrade automatically. Normally you don't have anything to do apart from wait.
Quite frankly I recommend switching to Gingervillain...
This way you'll have the latest market.

yes, but it doesnt happen by itself...

I have ugly battery life on ginger and there is ever bugs , so i prefer stay onto a stable and sure rom, with your kernel, and wait for official release :)

more over, i'm tired of ginger icons...

From what I remember, the market upgrade is automatic. I remember that it upgrades by itself.

As for the battery performance, I haven't noticed that much of a difference.

thx for your comments Eviollet :)

I re tried a clean install, nothing to do
I founded a flashable version that seems to work perfectly

So my problem is solved. I'll see if i keep this rom so :))
I 'm thinking about returning on Leedroid after this if i'm not fully satisfied, this rom is awsome, fast, stable.

Not sure, never seen them before but haven't looked for ages.

DeFrost has been replaced by Gingervillain so I would assume what x潮騒x said is probably the reason.

Richardtrip can you confirm if you are working on bringing 2.3 to defrost?

If CyanogenMod updates to gingerbread i'll update defrost. Currently we have an almost working aosp version but with a graphic bug. We have to wait for an updated proprietary lib from htc (nexus n1 ota maybe).

    Hi Richard.

Does this mean that we should expect an Gingerbread Defrost!? Or those of us that want to switch should go for Ginger Villain!?

    Thanks for your work.

    Merry Christmas everyone!

There will be a gingerbread defrost.

Power drain is still horrible. From all my tools, it still shows "SYSTEM" as most draining.

Now can anyone answer this, is it possible that one app I have open is using a "SYSTEM" component while sleeping so it shows up as "SYSTEM" in partial wake rather than the actual app? If this is the case, it'll be impossible to figure out.

I did manage to pull up what "SYSTEM" includes, can anyone tell me if they know any of these components could be the cause of my 4-5% drain while sleep?

    Account and Sync settings
    Android system
    Defrost settings
    Google backup Transport
    HTC Radio Info
    Network Location
    Settings
    Settings Storage
    VPN Services

    can you provide this info:
    adb shell
    dumpsys batteryinfo > /sdcard/batteryinfo.txt

and post the batteryinfo.txt? (as an attachment please :))
