i was on kyrillos v3.3 just now flashed JPF just to make sure my phone doesnt lag after v4.0 & now its clean & i even formatted the sdcard now it has no partitions and no data.....
1.now what i think is i flash v4.0 just like v3.3.... i mean after flashing run madteam app2sd partition the sd open terminal emulator and type those commands "mkfs.vf...........0p1"
2.then create a fs.convert wit stl6 &stl8 to ext2 and stl7 to ext4 put it in /sdcard/android/fugumod and reboot
this is all i should do right....?

one more thing, i have a 2gb sdcard right now which i will be using to partition and install v4.0 but next week am getting a 16gb card , should i reflash after inserting 16gb card.....,because one i remove the sdcard the phone boot but gives force closes of media.process....

1. yes
2. no, just follow the instructions.

after you buy the 16gb card just repartition.. dont reflash

but if i insert 16gb card phone gives force closes so how to partition.....plz dont tell gparted or partition magic its very complicated for me....if i have no option but to use them i will just reflash because using madteam app2sd i more simpler for a totally non tech guy like me.....:D

  1. No need to wipe your data if you are on kyrillos' rom v3.3+
  2. Shutdown your phone and remove sim. Don't remove sdcard!! Enter recovery (Vol up + Vol down + home + power) and wipe data & cache. [Ignore all red messages]
  3. Reboot and when the the phone boots, shut it down and go in download mode (Vol down + Home + Power).
  4. Open Odin, click reset files, select ops, tick one package and select the .tar file. Click Start. The phone will go in recovery. Wipe data & cache.
What do you mean with: "No need to wipe your data if you are on kyrillos' rom v3.3+"? No data wipe at all or just first time ?

hello, can i flash ur final version directly over indroid 3.0? i tryed the same with rc3 but i got a soft brick 2 times:) should i flash jpf first? when i flash jpf should i select the boot 2 or just phone pda and csc?
yes flash JPF first... without bootloader.

No wipe at all. If you have problems/bugs wipe.

Should I use "mad_team_app2sd" first and then copy "fs.convert" file in /sdcard/android/data/fugumod/ or what?

Kyrillos, I have removed your old roms from my webspace, please make corrections to your second post also.

When you buy your new sdcard you can also migrate the partition from the old to the new one. Just use partedmagic live CD, there you can open a terminal and copy the content of your darlta partition to an image on your harddrive using
dd if=<yourdatapartition> of=<imagefile>.img bs=1m
And later restore it on the new SD by partitioning it with at least the same size and dd the image back.

Some place faaaaaar away
Thanks kyrillos, this rom truly is blazing fast.

What I did was:
1. Flash JG6 Eclair rom (Otherwise it got stuck at GT-I5800)
2. Format SDCard (Not neccesary but I needed it)
3. Flash Kyrillos v.4.0 Final
4. Run Mad_Team app and partitioned the sdcard
- It booted into recovery where I did full wipe
5. Booted the phone, ran the adb commands as instructed in post #1
6. Run format from mad team app
7. Push fs.convert to the folder, as instructed in the txt.
8. Restore my previous apps with mybackuppro
