one question final version is made from new samsung Firmware ?
Changelog

Kyrillos' rom v3.0 Extreme Edition (Based on XXJPM)
Big font, name of the firmware is placed in rom's title... Please, read a little people...
Kyrillos won't complete this rom if you continue to ask the same questions again and again and again.... Time needed for answering those questions can be spent on working and making this rom even better.

Data2sd will be intergrated on v3.0 final. Dont partition your sdcard.

@radmor11 :)

Sent from my "Gingerbread Edition" Galaxy 3
You mean we can create the ext4 partition via "single click" in your v3.0? Will it format the sd card, so we have to backup? Any references to the class of the sd card - i read that at least class 4 is about as fast as the internal nand (maybe a bit faster, so that data2sd will increase performance)? I just don't want to have to invest in an class 6 or higher card. :p I don't want to hustle but will you release it this week?

Hej everyone!

First of all thanks Kyrillos for his work on making custom ROMs for us all :D
And now on to the questions (don't need Kyrillos himself to answer them - if anyone else knows the answers save him the time hehe):

1) When flashing your ROM, do you always need to flash the stock version (whichever your version is using as a base)? Because the instructions written by rudolf895 that are in the 3rd post don't say anything about flashing a stock ROM first. Should I flash the stock one (without bootloader right?) and then flash PDA and then CSC (separately)?
2) It might just be me but I can't find the older versions of your ROM anywhere. The only link I see is the 3.0 beta. Is this on purpose (so everyone uses the new beta and has suggestions? :D) or just a mistype somewhere?
3) What exactly is the difference between "Normal" and "without Lagfix" versions? Pros and cons of each?

I'll probably try out the beta, looks nice enough :)
Will definitely try out the finished product though!

[Edit]
Remembered one more question (or more of a suggestion really) :)
4) Which languages does Swype support here? In particular, does it have Slovenian installed? And if not, is it possible to add it, and how?

Depends on how the ROM is built. Final will come as a One Package (everything included) so you don't have to flash the base rom. If a ROM is flashed only by PDA you need to be on the base rom, so you have the right Phone and CSC.

Seems that there's no upload provided anymore for the older versions.

Without Lagfix has everything in rfs file system. Normal version has /system in ext2 and /data and /cache in rfs. Full Lagfix has everything in ext2 (/system, /data, /cache). That's decrepit with the final release 'cause it'll have ext4 support.

If you don't know what XXJPM is then probably you didn't read anything about flashing roms on this forum. If you want to ask something please read at least some q&a or any tutorial posted here.
Right now 2 positions above this thread there is one called exactly: "New Firmware XXJPM" and since it was created it's present on first page.
So please, come on.......

And by the way, in no way I'm an expert here.

But do you know, will it be available within this week?

It'll be a one package, right?
So I can install just by selecting the OPS file and the *.tar file in odin? Without "downgrading" to Eclair before?
And if I want to get back to Froyo (just aking :p) I simply have to do the same??

Sorry, but I'm not that experienced when it comes to installing firmwares :D
