[ROM][Froyo] DJ DROID v1.0-R1 BETA + app2sd + Odexed + pct batt [Another winzip mod]

All credits to udK and all ppl in XDA that make this mods, i only put together, thats my daily rom!

I AM NOT A DEV!! Only a colector winziper!

Thats a Mix of froyo 2.2 rom with Sense, i removed all things that i never use

I recomend a full wipe!!!

Removed:

• Google maps (can get it on market)
• News reader + widget
• Plurk + Widget
• Stock + Widget
• Footprints + Widget
• Mail + Widget (gmail is still here )
• PDF reader
• Quickoffice
• Stk
• teeter
• Facebook (get it from market)

Changed:

• Rom uses classic App2sd make an ext partition to move dalvik and apps to ext (credit to pmneo http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=721447)
• It uses odexed apks to save a lot of space in data partition (gaining aroing 40 50 mb) after instal around 120mb free to instal apps (credits to beidl http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=7114346&postcount=965)
• Joined % battery mod with circle icon + wifi n driver (credits to liamstears http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=7126465&postcount=23)
• I modded keymap, to wake up screen touch back button and uses slide down, lo lock screen uses power button as allways, this convination seens better for me. When desy is sleep power button makes nothing

If after instal the zip you cant find the widget you need clear data in settings - app - htc sense... dunno why, but it's the only way it works

Uses CW recovery to make partition to you SD, remember to make a backup first!

You can also use rom manager to patition your sdcard.

Your help Is appreciated, Im pretty new to this flashing stuff so am experimenting.

Ive just flashed the djdroyd rom and the new radio succesfully.

Ive not done anything to my phone in regards to customising so am considering flashing this one.

Can you answer a few questions for me?

If I flash this will it work with the radio I have flashed from djdroyd?

If I install rom manager (i really like this programme as its easy to use) and format partition using it 512mb and 0 on the other option.. will apps2sd then work?

1: Yes it will work, most new (compiled) roms need the new radio
2: a2sd will work automaticly after partitioning your sdcard.

Question about need to wipe

Hi,
one question: As I am using a rom with app2sd+ right now I would like to avoid wiping my sd partition. So what would happen, if I don´t wipe? Can I just continue using my apps like I did with other roms I have flashed in the past?

The ModInstallLocation.apk is an aplication to force system to instal aplication on internal memory (phone) or in sd card (external), used normaly with froyo roms to force all apps to be instaled in sd and save internal storage.

But this ROM uses ext partition to install apks, then you dont need to use the default app2sd from froyo, then the better option is set instalation of the aplication to phone (ext partition), for me the clean and noproblem way

But, if you dont use an ext partition i think this apk is a "must have" then you must to set "instal external default" (fat32 partition)

I had original DJ droid before, Wiped all data, flashed new rom plus radio and i cannot connect to internet through mobile network, Wifi works just fine,

I check the signal strengh and is HSDPA, mobile network is on, data enabled, and network mode is GSM, WCDMA auto,

Network Three in UK


Please anyone help me get this sort, Works great before on DJ Droid, SD card was wiped and ext part installed before flashing rom
