Hello, I am currently running your LP Rom v2.2, how do I get it to stock firmware 3.0 to install this version? I had stock fw version 2.1 on it prior to installing your LP Rom.

zulu99 you genius! Now I have something exciting to look forward to after work. You are insane! thanks for sharing it with the community and free loaders like me!
i can add something, this firmware is extremely fast and also better than 5.1 :) fortunately.
also better audio implementation
and vulkan will have a good future

YES. I'm insane. This is the correct definition. No other developer in the world, can do the insane work that i made to have this firmware.

Hi Zulu.
Thank you for this.
It has been a while since my flashing (Captivate and Atrix 2, well any phone before boot loaders LOL) days but I have to ask.
Will Fastboot wipe my user data or does it do a dirty flash?
I am unlocked, rooted, and on stock 3.0.

you need to wipe data if you switch to full Android.
fastboot -w

otherwise you have old data with bad Android Tv things inside.

zulu99,

have you Netflix 2.5.1 build 1072?

in your Link https://www.apkmirror.com/?s=netflix&post_type=app_release
ist max Netflix for Android TV 2.5.0 build 1070

And have you a link for SuperSu 2.67+?
you can install and try what you want.
SuperSu link is this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/2014-09-02-supersu-v2-05-t2868133

the + sign mean that you can install supersu versions >= 2.67. In reality are working all SuperSu system less that patch automatically the boot image.
In Marshmallow you need a patched boot image that Supersu do automatically, this is the difference from the previous Lollipop firmwares.

If TWRP recovery ask, not install the old supersu, not mount the system, and not inject multirom stuff.
i used this twrp recovery: twrp-multirom-20151112-UNOFFICIAL-foster.img
http://forum.xda-developers.com/shield-tv/general/recovery-twrp-2-8-6-0-shield-tv-variants-t3140926

Yes the L version. I not tested the newer version, but i assume should work.

I not install the TWRP recovery, i only boot it with the command:

fastboot boot twrp-multirom-20151112-UNOFFICIAL-foster.img

If you want test a Vulkan example, you can install this Nvidia sample Vulkan Threaded Rendering:
https://developer.nvidia.com/vulkan-android

i also tested many videos format expecially 4K HEVC H.265, work very well.

audio, passthrough, webcam, mic, bluetooth etc. all tested.

kodi, netflix , google movies, youtube, chrome all passed my tests.

i flashed the device one million times and installed root 2 millions times, all ok the bootloader seem solid now, but i boot TWRP recovery and i not install it, for my precaution.

Here is Netflix 2.5.1 Build 1072. Works Great and Support 4K.
https://mega.nz/#!ehxFCBjZ!HrqWBbjs3ZzowOuP4tGvWg6hP6uKtiKHEjqGilDZgKA
All the videos HEVC H.265 4K that i have tested work very well. And this is related to the firmware.
I not have a 4k Netflix account, i can't test, but if works or not work 4k on netflix can be only for a protection reason of Netflix and this is not of my interest.
For Netflix and 4k, my suggestion is run the Netflix TV app, use app settings xposed module and set immersive and 320 dpi. So the app have the same values of the stock firmware. Instead if the protection is in another place, i don't have the 4k account to test.

4K videos work wonderful on this firmware.

BUt many thanks for your test and suggestion.
