So far everything is running smoothly - same as before. I am really looking forward to the possibility of OTA updates in the future. This will make life a lot easier.

Wouldn't it make sense to open a separate thread for your build?

OTA nearly working, only server-side changes are needed.

I think I'll make a thread, but it will be pretty spartan.
I don't want to copy what erfan did so nicely and it is my first ROM which I make (Un)Official.
I also think that this ROM won't be used for very long, I think until LineageOS Oreo with Moto Mods is fully (or nearly fully) working.

Correct, nothing has changed compared to erfans builds yet. (Except for changes in RR Nougat.)

And except for easy things like OTA, I won't be able to change anything.

Here is my build but all credits go to @vache and @erfanoabdi.
Without them, the ROM wouldn't exist for our Moto Z (I think), so thanks for both of you
And of course thanks to @lilithium, who also helped me

I have to automate things, so I don't know when I will do the next build.
No built-in Magisk.

* added OTA support
* added changelog for 60 days (that took a while)

This build has been build within 30 minutes, it is the best build time I ever had... so please backup system and boot before flashing.
I flashed it but no problems so far.
No january security patch yet.

I think I drop the idea of a separated thread, it makes no sense because LineageOS Oreo is working and I guess this ROM won't be that popular anymore until RR Oreo comes out.

I think that's not needed also...
If there wouldn't be anything interesting here, the thread wouldn't always be pushed like in the past few days.
Saying that I think that most people who are interested in RR would've already taken a look into this thread.

So I think we leave it as is, with OTA updates enabled there is also no need to write much here.
I am oberserving github/RR for a new security patch, as soon as it's out, I will make a new build.

Maybe I enable the statistic feature later, to know how many people are using my build. But it is not important, if RR nougat won't get updated frequently.

After restart some apps icons just disappeared from main screen.

Not only from main screen, but also from app drawer. The apps are installed, but not in app drawer.

Only way to start the app is to go to play store and open from there.

I implement nothing, I just sync the RR repo, add erfans modifications for Moto Mods and build.
Which means, it is out of my control if RR does not have the january security patch.

I don't fix bugs, if you have problems, you should try to contact the RR community or the Pixel Launcher developers.

Keep in mind, I am no developer.

No native support.
Look at the microG Thread - installation this way may work:
... "On Android 7 (or later) an additional patch is needed to make location work, or alternatively, you can install GmsCore.apk in the /system/priv-app folder. This can be done by using adb push." (source: wiki microG)

I think that kernel somehow triggers a bug, which appears more often with that kernel.

Camera works longer for me with stock kernel.

Magisk is not included in this ROM and root can be disabled in developet settings.

But if your Banking App needs SafetyNet to pass, you must install Magisk and enable Magisk Hide. Then you can check if SafetyNet is passed.

Hi, awesome ROM, but looks like OTG got broken. Ir worked on 6.0.1 stock, after upgrade to RR it stopped. Is it ROM or Nougat problem? What can i do to fix it? (e.g. driver or settings in Android).

Guys, using rom from 05-02-2018, it says several times, that moto mods crashed. Any way to fix this. With previous versions I din't have this problem.
