So I just flash it in twrp as image of boot?
Will it work with 1.24.401.7?

Edit: Flashed it and forced rebooted to download mode then reboot like asked in OP but still nothing after the HTC U animation, blank screen!

I don't think it works with version 1.24.401.7
And I had followed the following procedure:

1.reboot devices to recovery mode
2.flash patch_boot.img via twrp (choose install image)
3.reboot >htc bootani>black>
4.press power+volume down for boot in HTC downlod mode and select reboot
>htc power android>htc boot animation>updtae number show>htc power android>set up devices>enjoy

I flashed this rom with dugl option, does it mean it's1.24.401.2 or 401.7?
It's very laggy, stock was much more smooth

I hope somebody could help me, i was running this rom since it was out , i was using the 1.24.400.3 variant and everything was ok.
when pie was released i ruu my device with the 1.24.400.2 version via sd method cause i did not have 1.24.400.3 ruu,
as soon i set my device with 1.24.400.2 the OTA to 1.24.400.3 pop up, so i did the upgrade to 1.24.400.3, all works like a charm
but the ota to next version does not shows, even if i try to manual search for the update,
since i ruu my device i have not root or magisk my device

please help

Hi, may I know did you flash the boot.img(1.24.400.3)?
Cuz I'm stuck on the HTC POWERED By android, I just flash this ROM by TWRP, and also wipe with TWRP instead of with ROM.

INSTALLING INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Download Skyline rom zip file and copy it to internal or external storage of your device.
2.Enter recovery, select wipe and advanced wipe
Choose Dalvik/ART Cache,Cache,Data and swipe to wipe
3.Select "Install" in recovery, choose your zip file from storage and swipe to confirm flash
Wait until finishing and boot process
4.Process boot>Finish>reboot>htc animation>black screen(wait around 3-5 min)>show process updtae>htc power>setting device>enjoy:good:
