Hey everyone,

my HTC U11+ started lagging during wakeup (took up to 1min sometimes - same issue as here), and after a full reset didn't help I decided to try a custom ROM. Back in the days on Samsung S3/S5 that was no problem, so why not again, I thought.
Well... that's where the fun began

I installed TWRP from here after unlocking the bootloader, version 3.3.1-0-ocm. No problems, I can't boot directly via fastboot, but after a reboot to the recovery from the phone side TWRP started without problems. It couldn't decrypt the data partition (understandable, my patch level was 2019-07-01), but I had safed all my data right before, so no problem.

First try: lineageOS 15.1, that file popped up on various other websited, but doesn't seem to work, TWRP throws Error 7, even after cutting the asserts from the script, giving 755 to /system and creating /cache/recovery directory. In the end I found the original thread and saw nobody got that ROM to work.

So in the end after trying several different approaches that didn't put out any effort and wiping the phone at least 50 times, I stumbled upon this thread here and got the ROM to install. Sadly I get stuck in a boot loop, and even the patched_boot 1.24.400.3.img uploaded by @zetiti didn't help. Anybody got ideas?

My U11+ is an Europe dual-SIM one, when I enter download mode the following output appears:

Edit: Just recognized I'm on 401 FW and the patch is for 400. Anybody got the 401 one?

Perhaps the original Roma should be put back into 2Q4DIMG.zip .
You have to relocate the phone, then put the official rom on a microsd and start the phone as a bootloader.
This could help to get back to normal.
I had the same problem at times, and in the end I managed to reboot the phone.
