Here's what I did

Wiped cache/dalvik/data/system
Installed the rom file
Wiped cache/dalvik/data
Rebooted and let the tablet fully boot
Wiped cache/dalvik/data
Installed my gapps file
Wiped cache/dalvik/data
Rebooted, waited a while, enjoyed 6.0 on my N7

I have so many gapps now and none of them work lmao.

Is wiping cache/dalvik/data/system enough for a full wipe?

Factory reset, this adds system to that list.

Wiping data doesn't wipe the Rom?

and what gapps did you use?
Nope, cache/dalvik/data is just a factory reset. System is where the rom resides.

if you also have this gapps package (it sounds so)
ls -lh gapps-mm-fix.zip
-rw-rw-r-- 1 mv mv 56M Okt 10 15:02 gapps-mm-fix.zip
~$ ls GAPPS/
dynamic dynamic.sh META-INF m-Gapps-nosetupwiz.zip space.sh system

Unzip it on pc, delete SetupWizard Folder (wont work anyway), open space.sh with an (useful, not standard windows) edtior and set "buffer" (?? what a bull****) to 0

extracted Gapps package has 144M (i have a odexed rom which is a little bigger than this one), i had approx 175 mb free space in system before installing. So it fits easily without the useless "space check"

Has anyone successfully added a google account? If yes, with which gapps? I still get FC of play services. I tried 4 different gapps, wipe/reset every time, gave all permissions to play services...

How did you re-zip it? The installation instantly fails when I used the edited, rezipped version.

edit: tried only replacing the space.sh file. now it tries to install but still complains that there is no space left.

i used zip command in terminal (7-zip should also work, maybe try without compression)

(zip -9r NameofZip.zip Files, e.g. zip -9r m-Gapps-noSpaceCheck.zip META-INF/ space.sh .... )

Finally got it to work with benzo-gapps-M-20151011-signed-chroma-r3.zip BUT this seems to be some old gapps. It doesn't have the marshmallow launcher.

Hi
This is getting very frustrating now......
Wiped cache/dalvik/data/system
Installed the rom file
Wiped cache/dalvik/data
TWRP says "no OS installed!" - I reboot anyway and then it reboots into android 6 !?
Wiped cache/dalvik/data/system
Installed my gapps file (gapps-mm-mini)
Wiped cache/dalvik/data
bootloop bootloop bootloop

WORKING ROOT.
I followed Chainfire's directions for modifying boot.img for root/SuperSU to work in marshmallow (HERE)
-snippity snip-

I flashed the attachment by running
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
in terminal, but don't receive root access and SuperSU doesn't detect a way to install the binary. What is the proper method to root?

EDIT: Never mind, got it to work.

Am I the only one with no GPS fix? I mean, of course location works via wifi triangulation, but when wifi is off... no GPS signal on Google Maps or TomTom.
