Ohh nice.
Maybe my problem with MMS reception will be fixed too. I will have to check that. ;)


edit : indeed, Network Search works for me too. Haven't had time to check MMS yet though.

Loving this ROM so far but my music like lags/freezes or even stops and cuts off depending on the app, this happens when switching apps but particaually when exiting snapchat, is there anyway to like fix this?

I've had time to test a bit more and the mms problem i had (and i'm not the same, i've noticed a few users posting about it between the different CM threads) is still there (nooo :/).

Basically, sending or receiving MMS crash the Mobile Data and you have to reset it manually (disable/enable) till you manage to get the MMS or it ends up being marked as "failed delivery" and stop trying. No idea why, can't pinpoint the problem (it's the same on nearly all SMS apps, be it Chomp/Falcon/QKsms/Disa/Hangouts, the only one that seems able to partially work around it is Textra.. but only if i'm on a WiFi network at that time, otherwise it has the same problems :p).


For the rest it's still quite stable, but i seem to have a call problem back that was gone, aka i need to play a video after reboot to be able to be heard/hearing people on the other side during calls.

Hum entered a weird bug today.

My phone crashed (phone ui stopped working, error pop up came on, but nothing was able to interact), i had to force reboot, but when it did i ended up in a bootloop, i had to uninstall xposed AND reinstall the latest rom, but it did like i had made a full wipe of my data and such (wich is weird because i'm certain i didn't).

No big deal overall (except it took me some time to reinstall/retweak what i needed because i had forgotten to make backups for quite a while :p), but it's strange. No idea why that happened.

    Resurrection Remix ROM for Samsung Galaxy Alpha​

    I ported RR successfully to my device, so I want to share the self-compiled build with the Custom ROM Community! :fingers-crossed:
    The ROM has been based on many projects like AOKP, CM, PA,OMNI and original Remix ROM. In this way, an awesome combination of performance, customization, power and the most new features are brought directly to your device. Many things that in previous versions were tweaked with mods, are now included by default in the ROM. I hope that you enjoy the new features which won't be available in original CyanogenMod builds. :eek:

    This ROM reached the ALPHA status - this means that the most basic things are working. But there are still some problems left which have to be solved by me or by one of the other devs. At the bottom of this post, you can find all features of RR Custom ROM.

    Installation Guide

    • Required: Stock FW 5.0.2 preinstalled, ROM+GApps saved in Internal Storage, TWRP Recovery v2.8.1.1, Root Access
    • Backup: go to custom recovery and create a backup of your current ROM
    • Wipe /system, /data, /cache, dalvik cache
    • Install ROM+GApps

    For upgrading an existing RR ROM installation, please install new ROM and the GApps again.

    RR LP v5.5.0 is ready! The new build fixes the bad audio quality during calls. In addition, the media volume should be higher now. You can record videos in great quality by using the Camu Camera App. In this way, you are able to use this ROM as a daily driver - ENJOY RR! :good:

    DISCLAIMER: The new build is based on Android 5.1.1_r6 - a CLEAN INSTALL IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

    I'm also prepared to support new device variants (Exynos). Have a look at this G+ post - RR can be used on G850M! - Just download the suitable ROM file here. ;)

    I was able to include the workarounds for the call echo problem - it works just fine! Great thanks to @vectro73, @lucasplv and @surfin-bobby for their help! :good:
    In addition to that, the SELinux mode is set to "Enforcing" for now, you can switch to "Permissive" mode via settings (thanks to @modpunk for that).
    The system stability should be also as good as in previous builds, because the new hardware sources have been removed.

    RR v5.5.5 is available now! :)
