Developers wanted to get SELinux into enforced mode

In my builds, SELinux is currently not in enforced mode!
However, this is necessary in order to be able to use banking apps or Google Pay etc. on our devices.

Unfortunately I'm not a code developer and have no experience with SELinux implementation.
Is there anyone out there who could help me with getting SELinux into enforced mode?

The sources are available here:
https://github.com/Borstelchen

Thank you for your support!
I can

Hi, @alisadty
Thanks for offering your support!

Preparations have already been made in the sources to enforce SELinux.
But the rules don't seem correct:
https://github.com/Borstelchen/android_device_samsung_zero-common/tree/lineage-17.1/sepolicy

Or is the kernel config incorrect?
https://github.com/Borstelchen/andr...ynos7420/tree/lineage-17.1/arch/arm64/configs

In the running Android system, the "getenforce" command always returns "Permissive".

Can you please check and possibly fix it?
Also all methods (like setenforce 1) to set enforce fail. Even with ADB.

Hello all. Thank for this rom @enesuzun2002

Also off topic. No version of Lineageos officially supports our s6 phone. Why? It supports a lot of phone models, only ours has been waiting for years. There is even an s5, there is a s7, but does anyone know why the s6 is bypassed? What's wrong with this phone that lineageos didn't give official support? Or is it an underused phone? Thank you from now.

Hi @esginmurat

Your question is easy to answer:
There is currently no developer who would like to take care of official LineageOS support for the S6 devices.

There are strict requirements for official LineageOS support:
https://wiki.lineageos.org/submitting_device
An example is that SELinux on S6 devices only runs in permissive mode and is not enforced:
https://github.com/LineageOS/charter/blob/master/device-support-requirements.md#selinux-status
If anyone wants to request the S6 devices to official LineageOS support, they should think about the following:
https://wiki.lineageos.org/device_requests

At least there are these threads on XDA that provide unofficial support for the S6 devices.
That's already a great success!

Have a lot of fun!

Repost from the W8 thread-

Big problem happened after a crash last week. I think it may be hardware related, but going to post the details, continue looking for a fix, then prolly change to a newer ROM. I installed this ROM about two years ago, and it was the best fit then.

Samsung S6 G920W8, non-edge version.

When using phone as flashlight, right before plugging phone in to charge for the night, phone crashed. When I used it the next morning, the login/PIN screen was larger than normal. When I unlocked, the 'desktop' (home screen) was also larger than normal. Light mode was on. I went into settings and fixed them- the font and UI sizes had changed to default, and dark mode was turned off.

Something else changed, too. My home button and recent apps button (the left hardware button) don't do anything. I would say they don't work, but they light up and give haptic feedback. The home button wakes the device, and the fingerprint scanner works. This is very similar to an issue I had when I first installed, but 3-button navigation is enabled properly this time. Also, the third button, the back button DOES work. Switching to gesture navigation doesn't seem to work for me, at all.

I cannot seem to any fix to these buttons, and honestly if I could I would lazy out and not install a new one. There is one more, incredibly weird issue, though... Every time I restart, dark mode turns off again. The other settings that I lost haven't changed since.

I've restarted a few times, I've wiped the cache, I killed my battery for a while to try to fix this. I'm not sure what the issue is, and I am worried it is hardware/memory related. If anyone knows a different work-around for this, I would appreciate a heads up before I try new ROMs.

Note: This is not a ROM based on the ROM shipped with your device.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10 (Q), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github Repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    What's working:
    • Telephony (Calls, SMS, Mobile Data)
    • WiFi
    • Bluetooth
    • NFC
    • GPS (Plain Device Mode Works)
    • Fingerprint
    • Camera
    • HWC

    What's not working:
    • Fingerprint at first setup bugs the setup wizard, so skip it.
    • Obviously Samsung's own features such as Samsung Pay, KNOX, Theme Center, Game Launcher, etc. won't be ported to LineageOS. We may have our own implementation to similar functions, though.
    • IMS services (VoLTE, VoWiFi, etc). Samsung has their own proprietary implementation. It is not really possible to easily port that to LineageOS.

    Possible Problems:
    • Please keep this in mind that Android 10 is still a quite new release so it may contain major/non-major bugs.
    • Problem: Problems with modem like dropping/slow/slowly connecting data connections, missed calls/SMS
Solution: Try to update your device's baseband/modem to the latest available version. If there are still problems, report this bug to the developers.

    Instructions:
    • Make sure TWRP has been installed and functional.
    • Download the latest build (and optionally gapps).
    • Reboot to recovery
    • Wipe data and cache (required if you switch from other ROMs)
    • Flash the latest build (and gapps)
    • Reboot

    Downloads:

    Reporting Bugs:

    • DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)

    F.A.Q.

It is a good idea to read here before asking same question

    1- Q: How can i report a bug?
A: Download Syslog app from Google Play Store and send me all log types and explain the bug clearly please.

2- Q: I have a tmobile device and can't connect LTE what should i do?
A: Try this workaround (till i find a real fix for that) by @bohica888: https://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=81732753&postcount=602

hello enes. Fast charging is not working on my g925f. When I turn the device on and off, it charges up to 1200 mah, but when I disconnect it and plug it in, it charges between 150 - 300 mah. I am having a lot of trouble. By the way, the most stable android 10 compilation is yours. I congratulate you. I can get a long battery time and I have a very stable phone now. 😁😁

    Edit: I am fix it
    Es file manager open
Find to / file path open init.power.rc es file text editor
when i got to the bottom of the page i saw adaptive fast charge disable and i changed switch 1 to 0
now my phone is charging fast 😁😁

    Quick charge 3.0 enabled.
